In this sense, the objective of this study is to evaluate the water relations of the parsley under different concentrations of salts. Two experiments were carried out in greenhouse, in the Experiment 1, in the factorial scheme (6 x 4) with six salinity levels of the nutrient solution (1.7; 2.7; 3.7; 4,7; 5.7 and 6.7 dS m-1), prepared on the basis of four cationic natures (NaCl, CaCl2, KCl and MgCl2). No experiment I the water of the evapotranspirated blade was replaced with water supply and without experiment II a replacement was made with brackish water based on the cationic natures mentioned above according to treatments. It was verified that with the increase of the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution, the cationic natures of the water influence the efficiency of water use in the production of fresh and dry mass of the aerial part.
