This monograph investigates the process in which the transition from asylums to therapeutic residences took place, relationships and care with people and groups living with the so- callad “mental disorders”, a process that emerged to restructure the brazilian psychiatric system and to return some social rights to people in these situations. Our initial reseach question was whether the innovations caused by the change from the old asylums to the modern Therapeutic Residences (RT’s) managed to advance in order to improve the quality of social inclusion of people with mental disorders? As a main objective, we assume to analyze the processo f moving from asylums to therapeutic residences, highlighting the advances and obstacles that allow the inclusion of people with mental disorders. For this investigation, we performed a bibliographic review at first, then we used two research techniques linked to qualitativemethodologies, observation and interview. The research revealed that the processo of social inclusion of people with mental disorders is still a long way off, as well as, therapeutic residences have na assistance character. However, the data presented reveal that even with the passage of time, graduates of the psychiatric system are still stigmatizad.

(2021-12-17) Souza, Carina Jéssica de; Andrade, Fábio Bezerra de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9407924493644881; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5753905436768992
When approaching the phenomenon of social integration of migrants, we focused on the perspective of Brazilian migrants living in Germany. In this sense, this paper aims to understand the current scenario of the Brazilian population currently living in Germany, in addition to investigating the process of social integration in the country of destination and analyzing their perspectives on integration policies, or the lack of them, based on their migratory experiences. We used quantitative methodology, with census data released by EUROSTAT, IBGE and Itamaraty, and qualitative methodology, with primary data produced through semi-structured interviews. We found that most of the subjects do not hold German citizenship or citizenship of other countries in 2011 that belonged to the European Union. The common points found in the interviewees' statements were the difficulty in learning the language; the cold climate; and the perception of the German State as strong and economically balanced.
