Item A peleja da disciplina de Sociologia: a flexibilização da Sociologia enquanto disciplina no currículo de Pernambuco(2021-06-21) Araújo, Antônio Henrique da Silva; Benzaquen, Júlia Figueredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0325443406402140; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7571138062409607The realization of a research such as this seeks to raise a debate about the teaching of Sociology in Brazil, according to the theories, methods and sociological concepts. It is necessary to make the bibliographic production to foster the debate and subsidize researchers and professors of sociology teaching with regard to the process of implementation of this regulation. To understand this process, it is essential to analyze Law 11,684 of June 2, 2008, amendments article 36 of Law 9,394 of December 20, 1996, which establishes and makes mandatory the inclusion of disciplines of Philosophy and Sociology in high school curricula, Law 13,415, promulgated on February 13, 2017 , which consolidates the proposal of MP 746 of 2016, better known as the MP of high school reform. On December 14, 2018, the Ministry of Education approved the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC) of high school. This normative document defined the set of essential learnings that should be developed based on knowledge, skills and skills. Within the scope of the curricular organization, the BNCC points out as being fundamental the flexibility and the mandatory character of this principle.
