O Núcleo Multidisciplinar de Pesquisa em Direito e Sociedade foi concebido, originalmente, em 2009, como grupo de crítica/ação contra-hegemônica. Está cadastrado no Diretório dos Grupos de Pesquisa do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico/CNPq e tem por objetivo desenvolver ações inovadoras de ensino, pesquisa e extensão, marcadas pelo diálogo contra-hegemônico, multi e transdisciplinar entre saberes jurídicos e não jurídicos. O grupo de pesquisa começou, em maio de 2009, na Unidade Acadêmica de Serra Talhada, da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco/UAST/UFRPE, quando conseguiu aprovar o seu primeiro projeto de pesquisa Universal Rural. A partir daí, esteve fortemente vinculado à defesa dos interesses dos camponeses, principalmente quanto ao acesso à terra. Em 2010 foi transferido para o Campus de Dois Irmãos, da UFRPE, e passou a atuar também nas questões ligadas ao meio ambiente e aos direitos humanos. Hoje também atua na Universidade Federal da Paraíba-UFPB. Este livro é justamente fruto de um desses projetos de pesquisa intitulado “A (in)efetividade dos direitos humanos e ambientais na crise do capitalismo a partir da América Latina”, devidamente aprovado no Departamento de Ciências Sociais, do Campus de Dois Irmãos, da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco. O projeto ainda está em andamento e, atualmente, também está sendo desenvolvido no Centro de Ciências Jurídicas da Universidade Federal da Paraíba.
Análise da percepção antrópica ambiental relacionado ao uso da energia solar fotovoltaica

The energy produced by sunlight has simpler electricity production processes than obtaining energy through the conventional process. In this sense, the number of people seeking to use natural resources has increased. With this scenario, the need to use sustainable energy is paramount to reduce environmental impacts. The general objective of the present research is to analyze the studies on the anthropic environmental perception applied in questionnaires, compiling qualitative studies on the benefits/harms of photovoltaic solar energy, based on the research found. It was observed that the interviewees had little knowledge about the use of photovoltaic energy, citing only its benefits, considered an economically viable source of energy and that guaranteed benefits to the environment. The gender and age range of respondents vary throughout the survey, with some being predominantly male and others predominantly female, aged between 14 and 60 years. Both surveys found some similar answers, it appears that solar energy is on the rise, as it is less harmful to the environment, especially when it comes to polluting waste such as carbon dioxide (CO²), citing that the cost reduction of plates is one of the biggest advantages for the photovoltaic solar energy sector. However, further research and further analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of using this photovoltaic energy source are needed to improve recovery from environmental degradation and reduce environmental impact.

The sun is the most abundant and intense source of energy within Earth's reach. The need to generate energy followed the evolution of the human race and peaked when, in the Industrial Revolution, people began to burn fossil fuels to generate energy. Currently, a lot is invested in forms of renewable energy generation, that is, that harm the environment less, so with the advancement of technology it is possible to use the sun as a source of clean and inexhaustible electrical energy. Currently, based on ABSOLAR's infographics, the use of photovoltaic solar energy has been one of the main sources of clean energy that began to develop exponentially since 2012 in Brazil. For these reasons, the objective was to elaborate a historical context on the application of solar energy and its viability in terms of sustainable development, economic viability and technological innovations, through the hypothesis that photovoltaic solar energy can be used as the best alternative for generating electricity. electricity from renewable sources. The work is a literature review and is included in the category of qualitative research. Data from 30 articles and two relevant websites (ONS and EPE) were selected through the use of theoretical references already published in books, magazines, scientific articles and websites, which were published between 2010 and 2022. In view of this study, the following questions arise: Can the solar resource supply all of humanity's energy demand? Why does photovoltaic solar energy stand out and tend to grow so much if it still occupies the 4th position in 2022? Why in Brazil there is still no industrial park for the production of solar panels and inverters? Through these analyzes it can be concluded that photovoltaic solar energy is a clean source and that its generation process, in addition to not producing waste, does not release residual heat, so that it does not change the balance of the biosphere and does not cover any type of pollution, clearly contributing to the preservation of our environment, also contributing to sustainable and economic development, where its acquisition becomes more and more viable.

Esta proposta de extensão teve por objetivo identificar e corrigir falhas no manejo sanitário, alimentar e reprodutivo dos rebanhos bovinos de leite de Poção - PE, resultando em melhor desempenho produtivo dos animais, e consequentemente maximizando a renda dos pequenos produtores. Assim como conscientizar os produtores quanto às questões ambientais no que se refere ao aproveitamento adequado dos dejetos dos animais, assim como a preservação de nascentes, e da flora e fauna nativa, resultando em um sistema de produção ecologicamente correto.

This research aims to evaluate the use of practical activities to create artistic pieces, using recyclable resources in Arts classes. Therefore, we propose two actions that are equivalent to our specific objectives: to identify the damage caused by the disposal of recyclable materials into the environment and to propose activities for teaching Arts using recyclable materials that are in the daily lives of students. The theoretical framework includes discussions about the teaching of Art and about recyclable materials that should be reusable for the good of the environment. The endowed methodological procedures consisted of a qualitative field research, in which we used, as an instrument for data collection, the observation and activities developed in a High School, in the State Network of Paudalho. The results obtained from the proposed discussions and practical activities contributed to the knowledge on the issue of environmental problems caused by inadequate disposal of materials, as well as to the awareness of the need to reuse and recycle waste, thus contributing to the preservation of the environment.

Circularidade de resíduos de origem vegetal em uma indústria de grande porte em Pernambuco: um estudo de caso de economia circular

Este trabalho apresenta uma análise do Primeiro Teste de Economia Circular (EC) dos Resíduos Orgânico e Efluente Gorduroso em um modelo produtivo que conecta a indústria de sabão em barra à criação de suínos, por meio do aproveitamento de resíduos de origem vegetal industriais como fonte alternativa de alimentação animal. O trabalho teve como objetivo principal avaliar os impactos econômicos, ambientais e sociais decorrentes da destinação de resíduos orgânicos da ASA Indústria e Comércio para a Granja Cavalcanti no interior de Pernambuco. O estudo adotou a metodologia de estudo de caso, fundamentada em levantamento de dados primários e secundários, como visitas técnicas, registros fotográficos, entrevistas com os responsáveis pelo processo e análise quantitativa dos custos de transporte, destinação e substituição alimentar. O período analisado correspondeu a julho a dezembro de 2023, totalizando seis meses de monitoramento. Os resultados evidenciaram que a ASA obteve um descarte ambientalmente correto de 179.240kg e uma economia de R$ 20.458,00 em custos de destinação de resíduos, gerando impacto social também. Já para a Granja, verificou-se a redução de 60% na substituição da ração convencional pelos resíduos de origem vegetal na dieta dos suínos. Contudo, observou-se também a leve queda de 10% no desempenho zootécnico dos animais, além do ônus logístico para o destinador final, em razão da distância média de 408 km entre os empreendimentos, o que inviabilizou a continuidade da prática no modelo descrito. A análise demonstrou que, embora a circularidade desses resíduos seja ambientalmente plausível e tecnicamente possível, para a parceria ASA – Granja não é factível. Conclui-se que a experiência analisada reforça o potencial da EC como estratégia de gestão de resíduos e de sustentabilidade industrial com parceiros geograficamente próximos e aproveitamento de outros resíduos de origem vegetal gerados pela indústria.

O desmanche das políticas ambientais no Brasil sob a égide do governo da extrema direita: do ativismo ambiental a inércia governamental

The motivation of this monograph was to address the main aspects related to Environmental policies, such as environmental inspection policies and the fight against deforestation and fires that occurred in the three previous governments, comparing them with those of the current government. The research shows what has happened with socio-environmental public policies over the years and what are the effects and consequences generated for the environment. In this context, the methodology used was an exploratory research with a qualitative approach, where the study for the theoretical basis had quantitative data. To achieve this purpose, a bibliographic review was carried out, presenting at first the concept and questions about the dismantling of public policies, secondly, austerity and the policies of the Environment, in a third moment the dismantling of environmental agencies, in a fourth moment, the environmental policies adopted by the Lula government, and finally, the policies adopted during the Bolsonaro government. The research was carried out from an analysis between the governments of former PT ex presidents Lula and Dilma/Temer in contrast with the government of the current president Jair Bolsonaro, where a drop in the budget linked to an increase in the number of fires and deforestation was verified during the Bolsonaro government, reaching alarming numbers. As a result, in addition to the lack of commitment to environmental policy agendas, the government has shown itself to be careless with environmental crises, causing great discontent among environmentalists. It comes to the conclusion that the environmental policies adopted during previous governments have lost their effectiveness in the face of the current government's lack of commitment: the numbers of fires and deforestation have risen again, and parallel to that, the number of inspectors has been falling year after year. Thus, the prospects under the Environment and the Bolsonaro government are increasingly worrying.

Educação ambiental em unidades de conservação no Nordeste brasileiro: revisão sistemática da literatura

The creation and maintenance of Conservation Units becomes an essential tool for the protection and conservation of the existing biodiversity in these environments, as well as for Environmental Education actions, bringing citizens closer to nature, sensitizing them to promote reflection and sustainable attitudes, in addition to providing quality of life and protecting the Planet and its biodiversity. This research aimed to evaluate, through a systematic literature review, environmental education actions in Conservation Units in the Brazilian Northeast, based on the scientific literature published between the years 2009 to 2022. It was a systematic review study, based on primary studies of the literature, in the database Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) and Google Scholar. A total of 30 scientific articles were obtained that deal with the theme of Environmental Education in contexts of Conservation Units. The northeastern states with the highest number of publications were: Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Norte, all represented by five publications, except Bahia with four scientific articles, there were no records of publications for the years 2010 and 2022. In this way, it is expected that in the future there will be a substantial increase in publications about Environmental Education in Conservation Units, since they are fundamental areas for public awareness, obviously respecting the specificities of each UCs, as well as to control anthropogenic actions (deforestation, pollution and hunting), regulate climatic events (floods, droughts and soil degradation), provide support services (soil formation and nutrient cycling) and sociocultural services (leisure, social, spiritual and religious)

With population growth and technological advancement there is an increase in the level of consumption of products to meet the demand needs of this growth. The Advancement, despite contributing to the welfare of the population, presents several risks to the environment, considering that the goods offered of nature are finite. The lack of planning and awareness of man represents a series of deteriorations to the environment, which each day intensifies producing great impacts on the planet. The reflections of human activities extends on a global scale provoking the loss of biodiversity, increased temperature on the surface of the earth, causing constant climate change, increasing the index of environmental disasters, the emission of high amounts of gases released into the atmosphere, directly favoring global warming and precipitation of acidic rains, an increase in the desertification process of several areas and among many factors responsible for the deterioration of ecosystems. The main function of this work is to transfer knowledge in a practical way to form the critical sense of the population, in relation to the preservation of the environment. Videos and environmental workshops were presented as a way to sensitize participants through awareness, encouraging them to create projects in their future classrooms, thus prioritizing the Sustainable development and preserving natural resources. The activities were developed as a form of training of the pedagogy class of the University Federal Rural of Pernambuco – UAG, where environmental perception was applied before and after the development of the workshops through questionnaire of twentyeight questions, with themes related to the preservation of the Environment. Por middle of the perception, it becomes possible to evaluate the previous knowledge of the participants and how much was the gain after the development of the project. The technical environmental education contributes positively to the formation of an environmental education capable of transforming the living environment of the population, allowing a different view of the conservation of ecosystems.
Educação ambiental: a importância da coleta seletiva para a qualidade de vida

O projeto surgiu a partir da necessidade das alunas do curso de economia doméstica em desenvolver atividades educativas que desperte nos indivíduos o interesse sobre os problemas ambientais que nossa sociedade vem vivenciando. Visto que a partir da percepção da realidade, os indivíduos se mobilizem e passem a adotar novas ações cotidianas a fim de melhorar sua qualidade de vida e das gerações futuras. A proposta do projeto é trabalhar a educação ambiental de forma que os/as participantes (crianças e jovens) assumam responsabilidades sociais e ambientais.

Com a expansão da sociedade de consumo, marcada pela produção e disponibilidade dos mais variados artigos de consumo, dos quais muitos são “supérfluos”, o/a consumidor/a é induzido/a a comprar de forma irrefletida, sugestionado pelos meios de comunicação em massa, ao mesmo tempo em que passa a ser reconhecido/a e aceito/a pelo que está consumindo. O consumo envolve coesão social, produção e reprodução de valores. Desta forma, não é uma atividade neutra, individual e despolitizada. O/a consumidor/a preocupado/a em satisfazer suas necessidades individuais, não reflete sobre as consequências de suas escolhas, descartando no meio ambiente toneladas de lixo do qual boa parte poderia ser reciclada, ou mesmo reduzido, através de atitudes como, usar menos materiais descartáveis e aproveitar integralmente os alimentos. Mudança de padrão de produção e consumo implica aumento do nível de informação da população, sensibilização e conscientização das pessoas, eliminação de desperdícios, uso consciente dos recursos naturais. Diante do exposto, o Projeto de Extensão: Educação para o Consumo Consciente e Sustentável tem como proposta desenvolver um trabalho na área de educação do/a consumidor/a, com orientação de grupos e famílias estimulando o desenvolvimento das habilidades necessárias para escolher e comprar diferentes produtos de forma consciente e sustentável.
