Alagamentos e Inundações - Uso de visualização geométrica para análise de risco associados ao volume de chuva e altura das marés na cidade do Recife

The purpose of this paper is to present a model of a risk diagram related to the occurrence of floods in the city of Recife. Visual artifacts that could be used as information sources and support decisions, disaster prevention and specific actions to mitigate adverse effects caused by rains are the expected results of this paper. To achieve the main goal, the calculating model for COVID-19 propagation risk created by IRRD in association with the Polytechnic University of Catalunya was adapted to the climatology’s theme. The presented results were collected in a day with big rain precipitation in the metropolitan region of Recife, and this was good for evidence capture and to prove the proposed model is applicable indeed.

Risks are an uncertain condition that can somehow affect the purpose of a project. The risk management aims to increase the chances of these uncertainties not affecting the planning success. As they do not adopt the risk management practice in their projects, many companies, when faced with problems, failed to solve them and ended up going bankrupt. Therefore, this study aimed to explore how the theme of risk management in projects has been approached by the national literature currently in the scope of the Administration. As a methodology for research techniques were used for systematic literature review and content analysis for the identification and interpretation of publications on the subject in the scientific literature between January 2010 and October 2020 obtained from the database of the Portal Periódicos CAPES / MEC. The results showed studies addressing concepts, project and risk management steps, methodologies, models and tools for risk management that showed positive results of applications in companies of various segments and sizes. It was concluded that the concepts and techniques of risk management have been applied in different types of projects, in various scenarios and sectors of the economy, such as the software industry, agroindustry and companies of world size, thus demonstrating its strategic importance, as a management tool, for the success of organizations.
Mapas de risco de inundação em áreas urbanas vulneráveis do município de Caruaru - PE na bacia hidrográfica do rio Ipojuca

Este estudo teve como objetivo mapear as áreas susceptíveis à inundação de um trecho do Rio Ipojuca, localizado em Pernambuco. Inundações, enchentes e alagamentos são desastres hidrológicos, agravados por ações antrópicas e pelo aquecimento global, que intensificam chuvas torrenciais. O Brasil e a Bacia do Ipojuca, em particular seis municípios da bacia, enfrentam alta incidência desses eventos. A pesquisa caracterizou a Bacia do Rio Ipojuca, determinou a vazão de pico para tempos de retorno de 10, 25, 50 e 100 anos, e identificou as regiões de inundação correspondentes. A metodologia envolveu a delimitação da área de estudo e a coleta de dados geoespaciais (cartográficos, fluviométricos e modelos digitais de elevação e terreno) usando QGIS. Para a análise de vazões, utilizou-se o software SisCah com dados da estação de Caruaru, calculando os tempos de retorno. A modelagem hidráulica foi realizada no HEC-RAS, delimitando um trecho do rio em Caruaru. Embora as características morfométricas da bacia sugerissem baixa propensão a inundações, as simulações revelaram que vazões de menor tempo de retorno já causam extravasamento do rio, afetando áreas urbanas do trecho simulado. As manchas de inundação identificaram 29 áreas com edificações residenciais e comerciais vulneráveis. Conclui-se que, apesar das características naturais da bacia, a proximidade da urbanização às margens do rio torna as cidades mais suscetíveis a inundações. O estudo reforça a necessidade de medidas preventivas e o uso de zoneamento urbano, auxiliando autoridades na seleção de soluções estruturais e não estruturais para mitigar impactos.

The detection of risk situations is something that has been improved every year. This work presents the prototype of a system for monitoring the risk of accidents in industrial environments based on tracking objects and people using computer vision. In this work, visualization tools are used in virtual environments to detect collisions, verifying when a large object is close to colliding with people. The central idea is to make a spatialanalysis of a tractor, or some object similar to this type of vehicle, and of the people who transit in that place. Through this, it is possible to create visualization methods so that the end user, whether a work safety inspector or an industry 4.0 system, can understand what is happening in the surroundings of the place and the relationships between objects. In addition to viewing distances, the prototype allows changing the distances considered safe between objects and people, making it possible to also test different types of tool configuration.
