“Becos da resistência”: uma análise historiográfica sobre Conceição Evaristo e Kmila CDD

This work has the objective to do a comparative analysis between Conceição Evaristo’s book “becos da memória” and the Kmilla CDD’s EP “Preta Cabulosa”, black women, presenting in lyricism strongly representing discourses of afro-Brazilian memory, from the oral and musical rescue. Both born in the peripheral of large urban centers, Belo Horizonte e Rio de Janeiro, carry in their experiences and, consequently, in their musical production, collective memory. Moreover, It is intended to point out the absence of the use of rap lyrics and songs in the teaching of history in schools. Thus, it is sought as the theories that encompass cultural history in Brazil, highly widespread from the 1980s, to aggregate the subjectivities, new approaches and new objects, expanding the History writing of Water Benjamin, E.P. Thompson, Margareth Rago and others, influenced the historiographic rescue of these authors who use different languages, the literature and rap music, respectively, contributing to the protagonization of memories generall silenced in national history, both at the university and in other formal and non-formal spaces of education.
Disputas, mistura e transformações identitárias: o processo de formação do lugar de Águas Belas e do Aldeamento dos Carnijó, em Pernambuco, entre as décadas de 1650 e 1760

Between 1654, after the expulsion of the Dutch, and 1760, during the administration of the Marquis of Pombal (1750-1777), several processes were carried out within the captaincy of Pernambuco, which directly interfered in the organization and way of life of the indigenous people. The indigenous people who inhabited the region of the current municipality of Águas Belas, in the countryside of Pernambuco, went through processes of contact, re-elaboration of identities, formation of alliances and conflicts over land, appropriating the colonial mechanisms, according to the limitations imposed and their interests. In this way, this article has as main objective the analysis and interpretation of these relational processes and disputes over land, between the decades of 1650 and 1760, in the formation of the place of Águas Belas and the Carnijó village.

In this text, we seek to present the interventions of indigenous policies in the 19th century, focusing on the Aldeamento de Cimbres, analyzing how local changes, continuously restructuring that environment, built complex relationships and caused essential changes in indigenous identities. With this purpose, based on a bibliographic review and analysis of official documents, using the concepts of territorialização and resocialization, we focus on the specificities of the process for the extinction of the Aldeamento de Cimbres in Serra do Ororubá in Pesqueira/PE. Finally, we make a brief assessment of how indigenous people remained after the extinction of the Aldeamento.

The current study sought to analyze the relationship between the Atikum Indigenius people and the bandits of the Lampionic Period, betwenn 1922 to 1938, time when Lampião, was heading one of the biggest gangs of ‘social bandits’ in the Northeast Hinterlands. In this way, we seek to understand the processes that built those interactions, pointing the dynamics lived by those two groups, taking in consideration that the social context of the period in question indicates some of the reasons for the establishment of those relationships. The Umã Sierra is a space of privilege to analyze because it’s historically inhabited by indigenous people and, in the begging of the 20th century, it was a refuge to ‘social bandits’.

This article aimed to point out the actions of indigenous peoples in the present time as protagonists in the historical construction of the country. We discussed Law No. 11.645/2008 determining the teaching of history and cultures of indigenous peoples in schools in Brazil, which is fundamental in the entire teaching process on this topic. We carried out a brief historiographical review of important authors to think about the topic. Finally, we deal with the actions of indigenous peoples in the present time, emphasizing content published on social networks, with the potential to become subsidies to be used in teaching indigenous history in Brazil.

This paper aims to present researches results about the life and the leadership of Manoel Valentim dos Santos, in order to discuss the creation and defense of aldeamento Riacho do Mato, which is located in Zona da Mata Sul, Pernambuco, next to the Alagoa’s border. Therefore, we aim to address Manoel Valentim’s life throughout the 19th century and to discuss the historical situation of Riacho do Mato during its foundation and extinction.

Este trabalho historiográfico analisará as relações diplomáticas estabelecidas pelo Império do Brasil no período que compreende o Primeiro Reinado - de 1822 a 1831 - com os países vizinhos do continente americano, bem como o contexto da época, que impactou profundamente a identidade nacional e como tudo isso culmina no Congresso Anfictiônico do Panamá. Mais adiante, analisaremos aspectos relevantes que circundam os eventos em torno do Congresso do Panamá (1826) e a ausência brasileira no evento, se encaixando nesse debate como uma recapitulação do que já foi estudado a nível nacional e continental sobre o tema, enquanto explora possíveis lacunas ainda não analisadas completamente nas produções já feitas, principalmente no que diz respeito a essa não participação.
Populações indígenas no sul de Pernambuco: o caso do Riacho do Mato e da Colônia Socorro (1860 - 1880)

The main objective of this work is to understand the process of formation and dismantling of the indigenous aldeamento in the Riacho do Mato region between the 1860s and 1880s, located in the south of the province of Pernambuco, close to the border with Alagoas. It is central to the analysis to understand the convergence and interactions between different historical subjects who inhabited or circulated in this territory, indigenous and non-indigenous. After the extinction of the aldeamento of Riacho do Mato, in 1873, the Colônia Socorro was created in the same place to receive migrants from the drought in the interior of the province. Even with a short duration, 1878-1880, the Colônia was the reason for profound transformations in the place due to the entry of thousands of new residents, the restructuring of the territory and public administration.
Representações sobre povos indígenas: uma análise historiográfica a partir da crônica “Duas viagens ao Brasil” de Hans Staden

Este trabalho propõe um olhar acerca da crônica “Duas Viagens ao Brasil” (1557) de Hans Staden analisando as formas que o discurso do cronista do século XVI influenciou as maneiras pelas quais sociedades indígenas e suas relações sociais e culturais são refletidas. Atentando-se sobre como o contato de Staden com diferentes povos indígenas, desde Pernambuco até Bertioga, foi moldando sua visão acerca dessas sociedades. Através do levantamento bibliográfico de trabalhos de autores como João Pacheco de Oliveira e Elisa Garcia, propõe-se uma revisão bibliográfica que toma como ponto central o protagonismo desses povos nas transformações sociais e culturais presentes em seus cotidianos. Assim como, o poder que a tomada de crônicas de viajantes como fonte verídica das realidades de povos indígenas do século XVI tem na criação de estereótipos sobre essas comunidades. Ademais, destaca-se o papel ativo das mulheres indígenas como molas centrais de suas comunidades, seja através das atividades desenvolvidas ao estabelecimento de alianças por meio de casamentos. Buscando assim, olhar para as imagens desenvolvidas em torno dos indígenas do século XVI, como também produtos de uma realidade social que entendia nesse, o outro que deveria ser civilizado por preceitos e normas de uma sociedade europeia tida como civilizada.
Os Xukuru do Ororubá na Liga Camponesa de Pesqueira (1948-1969): uma análise através de periódicos

This article investigates the participation of Xukuru do Ororubá indigenous in the Peasant League of Pesqueira City from 1948 to 1969, with emphasis on the occupation of the Pedra D'Água site, in the Serra do Ororubá area previously belonging to the village of Cimbres, where the Xukuru people used to live. The journals assume a fundamental role in this work because they show the speeches of the Pernambuco elites - mainly of the ones formed in Pesqueira - about the legitimacy of the Xukuru identity, the “communist threat” in the city and the agrarian disputes over the Serra do Ororubá. Besides that, such an intersection between the Peasant Leagues and the Xukuru proves to be quite significant for the practical understanding of the concept of territorialização, formulated by João Pacheco de Oliveira.
