Item Metodologia Peer Instruction alidada ao software Phet para o ensino de eletrodinâmica(2023-05-06) Pedrosa, Amaro Coelho; Silva, Wellington Moreira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7676688107190556; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0090234827832688This paper proposes the use of the Peer Instruction methodology and the PhET Platform for teaching electrodynamics, with the aim of familiarizing students with the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies, rescuing students’ prior knowledge, and promoting more meaningful learning. The research presents a proposal for the use of an active methodology that is widely spread in the academic environment and has great potential to be used in basic education, using the computational simulation environment as a resource for teaching introductory concepts of Electrodynamics and Electrical Circuits. The study presents a proposal for a didactic sequence that can be applied to high school classes, and it is expected that the results of its use will contribute to a significant increase in students’ interest and understanding of the fundamental concepts of Electrodynamics. The use of the Peer Instruction Methodology and the PhET Platform, programmed by the teacher, will enable teaching that is not only focused on memorizing formulas, since equations only appear after the use of simulations and experimentation. In this way, the understanding of how Electrodynamics variables articulate and influence the phenomenon occurs when fundamental concepts are solidified by students, and this can be an excellent strategy for teaching electrodynamics.
