Item Estruturação e implementação do planejamento e controle de manutenção em uma indústria de ração animal(2024-02-27) Souza, Matheus Victor Rêgo de; Moura, Alexandre Douglas Araújo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3602476790054326; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5282063337624711The production of animal feed is an intricate activity that demands the implementation of efficient and effective processes. To achieve this objective, it is crucial to properly maintain the assets involved, aiming to increase the reliability, availability and quality of products, in addition to reducing costs. In this context, this work proposed to present the structuring and implementation of Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM) in an animal feed factory. The process began with a comprehensive study of the plant, its processes and machinery. The literature consulted provided essential information that was applied consistently and aligned with the company's specific needs and reality. Additionally, data relating to the first 14 months of maintenance planning and control operation were analyzed. During this analysis, crucial indicators were examined, such as the number of work orders (corrective, preventive, lubrication), MTBF (mean time between failures ) and MTTR (mean time to repair). This approach enabled an in-depth understanding of the current status of the plant and its assets, providing valuable insights to continually improve production and maintenance processes. The data acquisition and the control of equipment results in an improvement in efficiency and a decrease in energy consumption, considering that the data obtained bring a better visualization and understanding of the components of the system. This work aims to automate data acquisition from a vapor compression refrigeration workbench by developing a low-cost data acquisition system. The system was developed using Arduino and LabView with the assistance of LINX software. After the communication between the controller and the program, six thermocouples were installed on the refrigeration workbench to acquire the temperatures in the program of the data acquisition system. For reading system pressure values, a camera was used to capture images from six analog pressure gauges. From reading these data, the pressure-enthalpy diagram of the thermodynamic cycle was obtained. The experimental refrigeration workbench has been used in teaching and research activities. The data acquisition system developed for the refrigeration workbench improved the realization of experiments, all wing a better comparison between experimental and theoretical results.Item Tecnologias e estratégias utilizadas para controle e economia de água nos principais setores de consumo hídrico no Brasil: uma revisão atualizada(2023-05-02) Soares, Gustavo Costa Lima; Silva, Robson José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7515677435963888; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5651077919700775Water is a finite resource, of fundamental importance for the maintenance of human life. Its use over time has become an important demand in various sectors of society. According to the National Agency for Water and Basic Sanitation (ANA), the sectors that consume the most water in Brazil are: Agriculture, Urban Supply, Rural Supply, Industry, Animal Drinking, Thermal Power Plant and Mining. With this, planners and management entities have sought to generate alternative solutions for better management of water resources, so that it is possible to optimize its use and consequently reduce its waste. Thus, this work presents, based on an updated bibliographic review, the main technologies and strategies adopted by the consumption sectors to mitigate the control and save water. Drip irrigation and plant genetic modification are technologies that stand out in the agricultural sector; the reuse of water in industry and the installation of water-saving mechanisms in domestic appliances also stand out as promising technologies, as well as the reuse of rainwater and the implementation of integrated crop-livestock-forestry systems in rural areas. In general, it is observed that each sector has its own challenge, converging in the search for technologies and innovations that manage consumption, combat scarcity and reduce water waste.Item Sistema de powertrain de um veículo elétrico(2022-10-06) Florentino, João Pedro de Sá; Méllo, João Paulo Ramos Agra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2430890141645755; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9987759193674873The automotive vehicle market is currently experiencing an advance in the development of electric vehicles, a market trend driven by the technological advancement of this sector and by a need to reduce pollution caused by automotive vehicles. In this way, it is necessary to develop a mathematical and simulation model that is capable of making predictions about the behavior of the vehicle for specific situations. In this work, a model for the powertrain system applicable to electric vehicles was developed, with mathematical models of vehicle dynamics, electric motors and magnetic flux and speed control loop. To this end, a literature review was carried out on such points. The mathematical models developed were used in simulation environments to verify the behavior of the developed control system, as well as the reaction of the powertrain system to specific situations common to the use of electric vehicles. The results show that the mathematical models developed realistically represent the dynamic behavior of electrical machines, as well as the dynamic behavior of vehicles and satisfactory responses of the control loop. Thus, it can be concluded that the models developed meet the requirements proposed at the beginning of the work.
