Item Ambiente marinho: percepção ambiental dos estudantes do ensino fundamental II de uma escola pública do sertão de Pernambuco(2018-08-28) Magalhães, Géssica Natália de Moura; Andrade, Luciana de Matos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2869096516724379The studies focused on the understanding of environmental perception among students are indispensable, since they enable the researcher to understand how the student perceives the environment, as well as serve to convey information about its operation. The present study aimed to evaluate the marine environmental perception of Junior High School students (6th to 9th grade) of a public state school in Serra Talhada's county, PE, using the techniques of children's graphics. Data collection took place in November and December 2017, with 44 Junior High School students (6th to 9th grade), enrolled in a state public school, located in Serra Talhada's county, PE. The methodological procedure consisted of three stages: 1. Performing children's artwork; 2. Educational action "lecture"; 3. New realization of children's drawings. The marine environmental perception of the evaluated students in Serra Talhada-PE is Naturalistic / Naturalizing and Globalizing / Integrated this reflects a vision of the untouched nature and even if the man is in this environmental scenario his participation must be based on environmental sustainability. The geographical position of the municipality of Serra Talhada-PE seems to influence the marine environmental perception of the evaluated students who see the sea only with its natural faunistic and floristic aspects as if they were in a parallel world in a decontextualized reality and when coming in contact with the information of this one project began to perceive a reality previously unknown and to demonstrate through the children's drawing the participation of man in a sustainable way, as well as his anthropogenic actions. The educational lecture about the marine environment promoted after the elaboration of the first drawings, without any previous contact or supply of any information on oceanography given in this project, made understand the marine universe of the students and from this, to improve their knowledge, since only after the second drawings could be seen as future agents multiplying environmental sustainability. However, it is essential to emphasize from experience that research with environmental perception needs to aggregate several instruments of data collection in order to perceive, understand and feel the relationships that human beings have with the environment.Item Educação ambiental em unidades de conservação no Nordeste brasileiro: revisão sistemática da literatura(2022-05-30) Silva, Wandson Ricardo de Queiroz; Andrade, Luciana de Matos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2869096516724379; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0641875189523050The creation and maintenance of Conservation Units becomes an essential tool for the protection and conservation of the existing biodiversity in these environments, as well as for Environmental Education actions, bringing citizens closer to nature, sensitizing them to promote reflection and sustainable attitudes, in addition to providing quality of life and protecting the Planet and its biodiversity. This research aimed to evaluate, through a systematic literature review, environmental education actions in Conservation Units in the Brazilian Northeast, based on the scientific literature published between the years 2009 to 2022. It was a systematic review study, based on primary studies of the literature, in the database Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) and Google Scholar. A total of 30 scientific articles were obtained that deal with the theme of Environmental Education in contexts of Conservation Units. The northeastern states with the highest number of publications were: Ceará, Paraíba, Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Norte, all represented by five publications, except Bahia with four scientific articles, there were no records of publications for the years 2010 and 2022. In this way, it is expected that in the future there will be a substantial increase in publications about Environmental Education in Conservation Units, since they are fundamental areas for public awareness, obviously respecting the specificities of each UCs, as well as to control anthropogenic actions (deforestation, pollution and hunting), regulate climatic events (floods, droughts and soil degradation), provide support services (soil formation and nutrient cycling) and sociocultural services (leisure, social, spiritual and religious)Item Percepção ambiental da caatinga: avaliação entre estudantes dos anos finais (6º ao 9º ano) do ensino fundamental de uma escola do sertão pernambucano(2023-04-28) Lima, Sabrina Vasconcelos; Andrade, Luciana de Matos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2869096516724379; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4345681274930484The works that address environmental education have been increasingly frequent in academia, proving to be essential and of great importance for the formation of a more sustainable society, since, in view of the discovery of the knowledge that citizens have about the environment, it is possible to guide them towards better ways of life, prioritizing the conservation and preservation of ecosystems. With this, the present work aimed to evaluate the perception of students in the final years of elementary school (6th to 9th grade) of a private school in the municipality of Serra Talhada, in the hinterland of Pernambuco, about the domain of the caatinga. Data collection took place in August and September 2022, with 39 students, where 25 were female and 14 male, aged between 11 and 15 years old, using children's graphics, audience application and lecture presentation education as methodological instruments. The students' environmental perception of the caatinga domain is Naturalist/Naturalizing, which reflects a vision of untouched nature, without human presence. The drawings of the 8th grade students were richer in details and with more complete representations of the habitat, with no differences between the sexes in terms of their representations. As for attendance, the students' greatest difficulties were concentrated on abiotic aspects, with males and 8th graders presenting better results between the two responses. The presentation of the educational lecture, held after the making of the first studies and experimental experiments, denoted an important moment in the construction of the students' knowledge, since the results of the studies and experiments carried out after this act enjoyed improvements in relation to the first one. However, even living in the ecosystem portrayed in the research, the students still have little knowledge about the biotic and, mainly, abiotic aspects, with that, it is necessary to have projects aimed at the conservation and preservation of caatinga environments among the inhabitants of locations with such domain, in order to have a more conscious society about the care of the ecosystem.
