The data audit process allows us to verify transactions and work to reduce the risk of incomplete records, thus being able to identify possible irregularities. This performance is quite challenging due to the amount of information that the process involves and the ways to carry out an analysis. However, the agencies still present an immature workflow for this activity and without the use of a great part of the technological resources that can help this work. To deepen the understanding of this process, we used the Court of Auditors of the State of Pernambuco as a case, thus developing a
study based on research achievements, innovation workshops and some Design Thinking techniques in conjunction with BPM. a proposal to improve the data audit process in the context of the Court of Auditors of the State of Pernambuco. We believe that, with this contribution, the auditors will be able to evolve within the process, as we will have the mapping of the entire activity, and will allow the sector to advance in terms of the results delivered and the work carried out.
