In this context, a testing methodology when implementing a new bar protection system can contribute significantly to ensure that the system operates satisfactorily, minimizing human error failures that can occur in the entire assembly or implementation process. of logics and giving reliability to the whole system. In this sense, this work presents a methodology for commissioning and integrating busbar protection systems for substations with double busbar arrangements with a single four-key circuit breaker. Therefore, the test steps to be carried out were described, detailing them for a better understanding of the reader and the possibility of practical application, such as the one carried out in 3 applications in energy substations. In these applications it was possible to identify failures that could cause serious problems, such as improper protection action and even non-operation when required.
