Item A ciência é masculina? Item Caiu na Olimpíada de História e agora uso nas minhas aulas!: os debates envolvendo as questões de gênero na ONHB (2015-2017)(2021-03-04) Vieira, Maria Eduarda; Andrade, Juliana Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9273063697259288; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4838349970389030Knowing the importance of the act of evaluating in the school routine and the challenges imposed by the process, this article seeks to reflect on the impact of the National Olympics in Brazilian History (ONHB) in the way the field of History Teaching thinks about the evaluation of learning. Through a brief historiographic panorama on the meanings of teaching and learning history, and by analyzing the evaluation process at ONHB, we problematized gender issues in the tests. In view of the growing numbers of gender-based violence in the country and the negative repercussions on the cultural practices of children and adolescents, it was intended to observe how gender issues are mobilized in the Olympics. To this end, we selected some questions that were asked in the tests of the first, second and third phases, from the 2015 to 2017 editions, in addition to the bibliographical survey about the evaluation of learning, the Olympics and gender studies. In a preliminary way, we can affirm from this study, that the ONHB allows / the teacher / the expansion of the way of thinking the evaluation and progression of historical knowledge and the students the exercise of thinking historically about gender issues of the present time.Item Cinedebate e questões de gênero: o neoconservadorismo na escola(2021-07-21) Mello, Fernanda de Carvalho Azevedo; Silva, Maria Auxiliadora Gonçalves da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1540473468896261; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6482348204704983Item Da moralidade à transgressão: a moda feminina na cidade do Recife entre os anos 1916 a 1920(2021-02-24) Lima, Thays de Souza; Nascimento, Alcileide Cabral do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0117492153657559; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3891718129870477This work aims to analyze how the novelties present in Recife's fashion, between 1916 and 1920, are opposed to the traditional models of gender and pattern of the ideal woman, representing both a break in customs and a tool of female transgression. The choice of the time cut is justified by the novelties presented with the Casa Gondim parade, which took place in 1916, in addition to the changes in fashion in the early post-war years that preceded the so-called "golden years". For this, the methodology was composed by bibliographic research and analysis of primary sources, to identify the elements that contributed to the insertion of new practices in society. Based on this, we investigated how the spatial changes and innovations in socialization practices, as well as their influence on the importation and use of new fashion trends, represented a threat to the model of morality that governed the Recife society in the period, reflecting on the representation of the Northeastern male and the figure of the woman of good family. The theoretical reference presented throughout this work helped us in the analysis of the relationship between fashion and the symbolic construction of gender from a binary perspective. The concepts of habitus, distinction, and field in Pierre Bourdieu, contributed to the understanding of fashion as a cultural practice, perceiving its use as a device of symbolic power, to reaffirm roles and characteristics expected in the relational binary between female and male. The concept of gender developed by Joan Scott allowed us to think of the conception of femininity as a historical category, which varies according to the context and power relations of the period. In this way, the transgressions present in the feminine fashion, in the temporal cut of this research, have outlined new ways of "being a woman", showing that fashion, as a cultural practice, can be used both as a tool for body discipline and as a discourse that denaturalizes the moral and biological ideals attributed to the feminine.Item Educação física, relações de gênero e educação: uma análise sobre as pesquisas presentes nos anais do Congresso Brasileiro de Ciências do Esporte (CONBRACE)(2021-11-11) Messias, Geiliane Rebeca; Lira, Maria Helena Câmara; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1315487815493191; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2902371218049291This study aims to analyze the scientific production published in the annals of CONBRACE that address the issue of gender relations and school physical education, in order to identify and analyze the main categories used, their epistemological bases and which propositions fit Physical Education in the educational scope. For this we have the information that was presented of CBCE, the importance in the sports and educational scope, as well as its Thematic Working Groups (GTT), with a focus on GTT 07 - Gender. Following, there is a presentation of CONBRACE, with a greater focus in the 2015, 2017, and 2019 editions that covered the theme of gender officially as an area of study of the CBCE. Therefore, from these editions, a survey was done and carried out all of the works presented with the theme of gender, thus making a content analysis of what is on the agenda about the theme within the Congress. It was possible to note throughout the research that most of the articles researched dealt with gender relations and physical education outside of school, highlighting the need for research in schools physical education. In addition, we seek to fulfill the objectives of identifying proposals for Physical Education in this area, in order to meet social needs.Item A escola e a representação das mulheres nos contos de fada(2021-12-06) Guimarães, Eveline da Silva; Portela Júnior, Aristeu; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2261345425063739This paper investigates through iconographic and bibliographic studies how two main characters from children's movies can act in the formation of women. School is seen as a place that can deconstruct limited views about gender issues. We observe the profile of the first and last Disney princesses, respectively, Snow White (1937) and Moana (2016) . And consequently, in the female identity.Item Faces do feminismo liberal em Pernambuco e na Bahia: debates e conquistas da luta feminista (1927-1932)(2024) Coelho, Talita Maria de Melo; Nascimento, Alcileide Cabral do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0117492153657559; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2504393821873386Item Ginástica rítmica e as questões de gênero nas aulas de educação física do ensino médio: uma pesquisa qualitativa(2024-03-06) Barros, Tarciane Thaisa dos Santos; Pirauá, Natália Barros Beltrão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1778511907021100Gender issues permeate our society in several instances, and are also found in the educational sphere, where they are more noticeable in physical education classes. The fact that Rhythmic Gymnastics is a practice aimed exclusively for female athletes made this practice the focus of this research, where the aim was to understand “How gender issues related to rhythmic gymnastics have been discussed in Physical Education classes in high school?”. Eight teachers participated in the research voluntarily, four female and four male, employees of private and public institutions who responded to a digital questionnaire related to their understanding of gender issues and the treatment of this issue in their classroom. The results of the study showed that only a portion of the interviewers discussed gender issues through physical education classes with the theme of Rhythmic Gymnastics, in addition, the researchers found inconsistencies regarding their understanding of the topic, showing that it's necessary to have a deeper knowledge about the concept of gender.Item Imprensa feminina em Pernambuco: representações, discursos, legitimações e relações de gênero no periódico Maria (1920-1925)(2022-10-04) Cavalcanti, Sarha Dennise Pedrosa; Bandeira, Élcia de Torres; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4669638328828195; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1908693754800189This work has the analysis of women and gender relations between the years 1920 and 1925 in the state of Pernambuco through the religious magazine Maria. Item “A mulher no século XX”: Plínio Salgado e a idealização feminina na ação integralista brasileira(2024-02-28) Silva, Maria Eduarda Nascimento da; Silva, Giselda Brito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2327404253426354; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1418185806600516This historiographical work searches to understand the vision of the Integralist leader Plínio Salgado on the issue of women within the context of AIB based on the book “A Mulher no Século XX” (published in 1949) taking into account the female role in society in the 1930s, marked by the idea of women as mothers and wives, under the methodology of Discourse Analysis. Furthermore, we will seek to compare the idealization made in the 1949 book with the female presence in the founding document of the movement (Manifesto de Outubro de 1932) and the role of women in the Brazilian Integralist Action based on the journalistic analysis of the newspaper A Offensiva. We hope, from this research, to confirm the influence of the Catholic and conservative ideals, both in the precepts that Plínio Salgado uses as a basis when founding the Brazilian Integralist Movement, and in the actions of integralist women, also known as green blouses or “plinianas”.Item Mulheres na Matemática: contribuições, conquistas e desafios ao longo da história(2023-05-05) Santos, Hellen Priscila de Souza; Araújo, Yane Lísley Ramos; Kulesza, Maité; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4001440813037430; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6642941380570085; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0109502986579094In this research, motivated by the analysis of gender inequality, we conducted a bibliographical study to understand the historical and social context of education for women and men. We provided subsidies so that the community could understand the gender inequality still present in mathematics and its consequences. We portrayed female personalities who were pioneers in the field and overcame obstacles, paving the way for others. We presented important awards received by female mathematicians, highlighting the little recognition they received when compared to that received by men. We demonstrated achievements that were made through collective mobilization and struggle and observed that we still have many challenges to face and overcome. With this research, the objective provoking a reflection on the need for recognition and appreciation of women mathematicians, as well as offer examples of initiatives aimed at overcoming the difficulties they face within a predominantly male universe.Item Mulheres no mercado de trabalho: uma análise regional dos efeitos da pandemia da COVID-19 sobre a desigualdade de gênero no Brasil(2022-02-17) Amorim, Anna Beatriz Borges de; Souza, Poema Isis Andrade de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2017359154121135; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1955792793217694This monograph has as its object of study the labor market, which, historically, is marked by gender inequality in labor relations. Associated with this is the territorial extension and cultural diversity of Brazil, which results in different scenarios of gender inequality in the labor market of the same country. Through an exploratory analysis of secondary data from the Quarterly Continuous PNAD, we sought to analyze what the possible effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on women in the labor market, from 2020 to 2022, in order to understand the pre- and post-pandemic scenarios. For this, some variables were used: the unemployment rate, the reason why individuals did not look for work, the amount of hours actually worked, the individual's position in the occupation, among others. The results show that women were more vulnerable to the pandemic as they had a greater participation in the unemployment rate during this period. The relevance of this monograph is in showing the fragility of the Brazilian labor market by region and by gender, and how periods of crisis can demonstrate this volatility by increasing social differences. Item Políticas públicas para as mulheres: avanços, limites e desafios(2021-07-26) Monteiro, Morgana Henrique; Silva, Laurileide Barbosa da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7869325906861017; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5647649505835610This article presents the results of the research finished in 2016, through the Scientific Initiation Program/PIC-CNPq/UFRPE, as a requirement for equivalence to the Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório of the Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics. This research had the goal to identify the social direction of public policies aimed at women in the municipalities of Recife, Olinda and Jaboatão dos Guararapes, in order to promote female autonomy. The methodology used was exploratory and was based on bibliographical research and on-site observation of the routine of the places where women were cared for, where data on gender relations and female autonomy in those municipalities were collected. The results obtained show that the actions aimed at women were concentrated in services specialized in assisting women in situations of domestic and/or sexist violence and programs that enable women's economic autonomy, whether offering professional training or entrepreneurship courses. In view of the results presented, it was possible to affirm that the policies aimed at women were characterized as welfare policies and, in the context of the precarious era, they needed to advance towards structuring actions, understanding and intervening in the problem of women in the broader context of the whole of the logic of capital.Item Práticas pedagógicas e as representações de gênero em sala de aula: um estudo na educação infantil em escola pública(2021-07-14) Silva, Tânia Maria Rodrigues da; Duarte, Rebeca Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2892457731367709; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4105350999518782In the Brazilian educational context, despite the legal advances regarding the discussions on gender, many have been the obstacles to the realization of this theme in schools. This work was thought from the need to understand how the teaching pedagogical practices in the scope of Early Childhood Education, reinforce gender stereotypes or combat sexism through their performance in educational processes and in the formation of gender identity. Understanding that the school as a socializing space for concepts, concepts and practices, contributes to this construction, since it is in it that situations of inequality between men and women, boys and girls materialize, and these, in turn, materialize in the relationship with the teachers through the practices and are naturalized by the speeches and influenced by didactic materials, media etc. In terms of methodology, for data collection, systematic observation and direct interviews with the subjects were used, whose contents were analysed qualitatively and complemented with the Theory of Social Representations (TRS). The results demonstrate that teachers find it difficult to approach gender in the classroom and that there is a process of perpetuation of stereotypes of what it is to be a man and what it is to be a woman, in addition to the resistance in talking about other identities, although there are ruptures in sporadic activities, there was a need for training that instigates, problematize, and sensitizes teachers to systematically address gender issues in their pedagogical practices.Item Relações de gênero na literatura infantil: uma análise sobre o conto de fadas “Branca de Neve e os Sete Anões”(2023-09-06) Silva, Luana Santana da; Souza, Ana Paula Abrahamian de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5944309643014109; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6328520120023161The present work aims to reflect on gender representations in the fairy tale "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" in different versions and historical contexts based on gender studies. We conceptualize fairy tales, presenting their historical trajectory according to Santos et al. (2017) and Coelho (2000) and we point out aspects of their importance for the cognitive and socio-affective development of children through the contributions of the authors Coutinho and Rodrigues (2021) and Nogueira (2016), in addition to pointing out aspects of the stories from the perspective of Cultural Studies conceptualized by Santos (2015). Through the discussion of authors who bring a feminist perspective to research, such as Louro (1997), Scott (1995) Bento (2011), we establish the concept of gender used in research and how it is evidenced in popular fairy tales worldwide. The methodology used consisted of a qualitative content analysis approach, and, after contextualizing the works under analysis, we determined three categories: patterns of subjectivation of femininities, patterns of subjectivation of masculinities and gender relations. Two files were analyzed textually and iconographically, the first being the traditional version of the story and the second a contemporary version in audiobook format. We seek to point out characteristics in the works that reinforce stereotypes of genders and the relationships between them, also pointing out new networks of meanings for the production of femininities and masculinities that escape hegemonic standards in the most current work of short stories. We also highlight the importance of this study in teacher training, leading them to understand the complexities of gender identities and choose materials that promote diversity and inclusion. This allows educators to sensitize students to gender issues, challenge stereotypes, and create safe and respectful school environments.Item A sobrecarga do trabalho doméstico sobre as mulheres durante a pandemia da COVID-19(2021-02) Espírito Santo, Daniely Silva do; Arrazola, Laura Susana Duque; Maciel, Michelle Cristina Rufino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9534230023921784; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4317982181688343; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9926524294548489As the advance of the pandemic caused by Covid-19, throughout the year 2020 and extending to 2021, there has been an intensification of processes related to the accentuation of sexual inequalities reinforced in gender relations established in the domestic / family space, especially in function of social isolation, home office. In this sense, the argument of accountability with domestic activities, has made women experience a daily life that overloads them, be it in relation to the activities of caring for children, the elderly, the sick in the family and / or, in other words, in relation to other activities that need to be developed at home. Although women were already at the forefront of these activities, even before the pandemic, with more people at home, and having to reconcile, in some cases with remote work, social isolation caused a more intense coexistence of families and an accumulation of activities performed by women, who are usually not fairly divided by all family members. Thus, it is necessary to remember the rooting of patriarchy in contemporary society. Process that historically places women as responsible for the so-called “feminine” or “women's things” activities, understood as “unproductive”, as they do not generate direct resources for families. The challenge of involving everyone in the family in the co-responsibility of domestic activities and care, especially in the male figure (s), is highlighted: man as a participating agent and also responsible for the aforementioned activities. To this end, the research aims to understand the perception of women in relation to the burden of domestic work during social isolation caused by the pandemic of the covid-19, the inequality in the division of tasks, focusing on the absence of men and people who share the house and, present as a contribution to expand the discussions regarding the sexual division of labor and the burden of women in the pandemic period.Item O trato com o conteúdo ginástica rítmica: a percepção de professores do sexo masculino sobre sua atuação numa modalidade exclusivamente feminina(2021-12-10) Bezerra, Wilson Paulo da Silva; Beltrão, Natália Barros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1778511907021100; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2368898383193724From the discussions about gender that revolve around the universe of sport, Rhythmic Gymnastics (GR) is present as that modality that is said to be exclusive to only one of the sexes, the female. Analyzing the vision and reality of male teachers about their role in GR is the general objective of this research, which also has in its specific objectives the aim of identifying the possible limitations faced by a GR teacher, and also pointing out what are the potential of a teacher of this modality.. This study also seeks to know How is the performance of male teachers in Rhythmic Gymnastics, an exclusively female modality? Methodologically, the theme was analyzed through a descriptive, cross-sectional study with a quali-quantitative focus, from a questionnaire that was applied in the form of an interview, with the participation of three teachers, bringing as an inclusion criterion, being male and working with GR. The initial contact with these teachers was made through their social networks and the interviews were all online. The research results indicate that, in the view of these teachers, there is a lack of visibility for male GR, so that this modality can develop and attract new students and that the current reality of teachers working in the area is that they still face some prejudices for being male. and work in a still feminine modality. The initial hypothesis of the study was confirmed, since it was found that GR, as an exclusively female modality, limits the space for the performance of male teachers. Thus, according to what was said by each teacher interviewed, the male GR is advancing, but at very slow steps, so that a future is seen for male practice within this modality, but it is still unknown when this will happen. The media, which is a great promoter of sports, can be a factor that influences the development of this modality for boys, which is currently not happening and this does not happen ends up being a barrier, where, according to everything that was seen, the Barriers are very present in the universe of those who intend to enter this career, but the representation of having a male teacher in an exclusively female modality is very important.
