Item Análise da participação dos agricultores familiares do Sertão do Pajeú–PE no Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar (PNAE)(2019) Souza, Alisson Danilo Silvestre de; Souza, Patrícia Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9701874166391396; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0459356203494729In recent years, family farming has gained prominent status, especially in the Northeast region of Brazil, thanks in part to public policies such as the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), for example, which attracts food from family farming, generating rural development for the region. The theoretical framework uses the works of Buainain et al. (2003), Schneider (2010), Guanziroli et al. (2011), Plein (2018), and the study published by FAO / INCRA (2000). About PNAE were used works of Almeida et al (2018), Souza (2017), Reiset al. (2018), Nunes et al. (2018) and Ribeiro et al. (2013). The general objective is to analyze the participation of family farmers in the Sertão do Pajeú -PE region, demarcated by the Território da Cidadania, in the PNAE, from 2009 to 2017. The methodology consisted of a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the financial aid of Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação to the PNAE, through the provision of accounts and their reports, in addition, data from the Municipal Agricultural Survey (PAM in Portuguese) and the Municipal Livestock Research (PPM in Portuguese) were also used. As results and discussions obtained in the research, it was observed that the 20 municipalities in the Sertão do Pajeú region have a regular agricultural activity throughout the period and their participation in the acquisition of food from family agriculture for school feeding. In general, the municipalities comply with Law 11.947 / 2009 which determines the use of 30% of the financial pass-through of PNAE to purchase food from the family farmer, however, only 6 municipalities are able to comply in most of the analyzed years with what is determined by the Law. The justifications contained in the reports for non-compliance or partial compliance with the legislation argue that it is not possible to provide regular and constant supplies of foodstuffs, emergency situation (drought), the impossibility of issuing a corresponding tax document, among others.Item Do campo ao ensino: uma relação entre a agricultura familiar e a aquisição de alimentos pelas escolas públicas de Paudalho - PE(2024-03-07) Maciel, Ana Clara Santos; Souza, Poema Isis Andrade de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2017359154121135The discussion of how the countryside permeates the city so that there exists a sustainable relationship between these two realities is a too approached topic, in such a way that the recognition that it is necessary to strengthen this relationship is even present in laws. The goal of this work is twofold. First, it is to analyze, throughout secondary data and interviews, the Federal Law L11947 applied to the district of Paudalho, where one of the prerequisites for the city to receive the requested resource is that its schools use at least 30% of such funding in family-farming-food-made. The second objective is to discuss the importance of this law for the relationship between the countryside and the municipality, understanding whether it can promote the circular economy and healthy eating in schools in the municipality. Secondary data analysis is based on reading research articles, collecting IBGE socioeconomic numbers, and information collected through interviews with staff of the Paudalho Education Department. From this analysis and discussion, it is concluded that the Federal Law L11947 is a remarkable incentive for the circular economy of the region, but there still exist many difficulties to overcome, such as, for instance, the low value of available federal resources capable of covering students meals without district's resources.Item Educação alimentar e alimentação escolar: um diálogo entre as políticas públicas e as práticas educativas de uma escola municipal do Recife(2019-12-18) Oliveira, Marta Raquel do Nascimento; Faria, Andréa Alice da Cunha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9061416520602275; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3637510999034508This monograph aims to investigate the eating practices and educational practices of the Early Years of Elementary School of a School of the Recife Municipal Network, in order to contribute to the articulation of actions of Food and Nutrition Education to school practices. Assim, o Projeto de Extensão: “Merenda Escola: uma questão de Saúde e Cidadania” tem como proposta desenvolver um trabalho de intervenção através de oficinas de alimentação e saúde, de manipulação de alimentos e implantar orientação a família, considerando a perspectiva do Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar – PNAE.Item O Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar, a Produção Animal Agroecológica e Agricultura Familiar: desafios para a assistência técnica e extensão rural(2019-07-15) Torres, Ana Fabíola Araújo; Andrade, Horasa Maria Lima da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4314101991387960; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9448187873363407The objective of this work was to address the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), aiming at characterizing the family farm food purchase program, the PNAE, and the challenges for the purchase of animal production from family farmers by this program, besides reflections from the Agroecology perspective. As methodology was used the literature review considering four thematic areas: I- The National School Feeding Program (PNAE); II- Family Agriculture; III- Agroecology and Family Agriculture and IV- Agroecological Animal Production. In addition, a group of rural technicians and extensionists were interviewed to investigate their perception of the challenges to the acquisition of livestock production of family farmers by the PNAE. It concludes that this topic provides a learning about the thematic, regarding the foods that are being taken to the schools, and how important it is to the food safety terms quality products. As these programs of food acquisition have benefited family farming, because with this the farmers can invest in their properties; another point that was well evidenced is the introduction of animals into family farming, the agroecological creation that have been making possible financial resources for these families. In addition to gaining knowledge about the programs developed by the federal government and how these have been transforming the reality of many farmers, rural entrepreneurs among others
