A Cartilha da Mulher Apicultora: Um Guia para Mulheres Empreendedoras é uma obra que celebra a força, a determinação e a criatividade das mulheres que se dedicam à apicultura. Destinada a apicultoras em potencial e aquelas que já atuam nesse setor, esta cartilha reúne informações essenciais e práticas que vão desde o manejo do apiário até a produção e comercialização de produtos apícolas.

The Booklet for Female Beekeepers: A Guide for Women Entrepreneurs is a technical and extension-oriented publication aimed at the training, qualification, and strengthening of women’s participation in beekeeping. Intended both for potential female beekeepers and for those already engaged in the activity, the booklet brings together practical and accessible guidance on apiary management, addressing topics such as site selection, hive population, apiary inspection and sanitary control, honey harvesting, and the economic management of production.
The booklet also highlights the importance of bee products—such as honey, beeswax, propolis, and pollen—as alternatives for income generation, the appreciation of women’s work, and the promotion of sustainable development. Developed from extension experiences and through dialogue between academic and traditional knowledge, the publication seeks to contribute to the economic, social, and productive empowerment of women, strengthening their autonomy and female leadership in rural areas.
