(2023-11-20) Santos, Rafaela Pereira dos; Lira, Rafael Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4601784121439123
In this study, we investigated the integration of the Metaverse as an innovative technological tool in the enhancement of education. Our objective was to propose educational content that utilizes the Metaverse for the teaching of arts. The theoretical framework addressed changes in education due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the increasing integration of technologies in the teaching-learning process. The methodology included a visit to a virtual museum, showcasing the exhibition by the Recife artist Jeff Alan, and the collection of responses to a questionnaire from current and future teachers, allowing them to share their insights about the visit. The research results indicate a positive receptivity to the use of the Metaverse as a pedagogical tool, as well as its potential as a means of artistic promotion. Based on the obtained results, it was found that the Metaverse holds considerable potential to enrich education and foster comprehensive discussions on the integration of technologies in education.

(2021-08-12) Melo, Alexandre Magno Aquino; Carvalho, Marluce Vasconcelos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2780914280180020; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1652172179814505
This research aims to investigate the contributions of virtual museums to visual arts classes and, from this, the need arose to insert two specific objectives: visiting virtual museums, observing their collections and mediation proposals and exploring the specificities of these spaces, and demonstrate how virtual museums are used by teachers in art classes, through the application of a questionnaire. The theoretical framework included discussions about the definition of a virtual museum, the use of the internet as a tool and technologies in the classroom and about the functioning of Google Arts and Culture, as well as information about the virtual museums of the Louvre, MASP and Pinacoteca de São Paulo. The methodological procedures adopted consisted of literature review, highlighting: Arrais (2013), Bahia (2015), Dias and Rigoni (2017), Henriques (2018) and Bogea, Bogea, Costa and Rocha (2020) and a completed questionnaire by nine art teachers from primary, secondary and higher education, from public and private institutions. The data obtained indicated that virtual visits contribute to good results in art classes, arousing the interest of students. Based on the results and discussions presented, it is considered that virtual museums are a tool that complements or helps the art class, even if access is still a barrier, but it is undergoing an evolutionary process.
