Technology has been a great ally in maintaining and optimizing production. Technological prospecting of technologies incorporated in agricultural machinery is essential to monitor and capitalize on constant advances in this field. In this way, the general objective of the work was to carry out technological prospecting of technologies embedded in agricultural machinery, and from this see the panorama of Brazil and the world to understand the path that the market is pointing towards. Through the advanced search platform of the World Intellectual Property Organization, using the International Patent Code (CIP) and keywords referring to technology and agricultural machinery, companies, countries and which CIP stood out the most in the field were identified. patent filing from 2015 to 2023. Through technological prospecting, it was observed that China leads the ranking of countries that filed the most patents in the period analyzed, just as Deere & Company was the company that stood out the most. In relation to the International Patent Code, the section in which the most deposits were obtained was section A, in subclass A01C, which refers to planting, sowing and fertilizer activities. Therefore, it is worth highlighting that from 2015 to 2023 there was a reduction of approximately 27% in the registration of patents, and this scenario can be traced back to the pandemic moment experienced precisely in that period.
