To achieve this objective, it is crucial to properly maintain the assets involved, aiming to increase the reliability, availability and quality of products, in addition to reducing costs. In this context, this work proposed to present the structuring and implementation of Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM) in an animal feed factory. The process began with a comprehensive study of the plant, its processes and machinery. The literature consulted provided essential information that was applied consistently and aligned with the company's specific needs and reality. Additionally, data relating to the first 14 months of maintenance planning and control operation were analyzed. During this analysis, crucial indicators were examined, such as the number of work orders (corrective, preventive, lubrication), MTBF (mean time between failures ) and MTTR (mean time to repair). This approach enabled an in-depth understanding of the current status of the plant and its assets, providing valuable insights to continually improve production and maintenance processes.
