Item Alteração na política de concessão do seguro-desemprego e taxa de rotatividade no mercado de trabalho(2022-05-30) Montenegro Junior, José Luciano Rocha; Souto, Keynis Cândido de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0393274407907348; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9886199268863825The turnover rate is understood as the rate of dismissal of workers in companies, this situation occurs with the dismissal of the worker. In this condition of dispensation, Brazil has implemented, since 1986, a benefit called unemployment insurance, which is intended to ensure the worker a financial support for a period. However, access to this benefit was modified by Law nº 13.134 of 2015. Thus, this work aims to analyze changes in the turnover rate that occurred due to the legal change, which changed the rules of unemployment insurance. The analysis was made considering two periods, the first from 2010 to 2015, before the Law and, the second corresponds 2016 to 2019, relative to the period after the change. For the calculation of the Turnover Rate (RT), two methodologies were used, the proposal by Orellano and Pazello (2006) and that of Filho and Santos (2013). The results of the research allow us to conclude that after the new legislation, turnover rates fell, both in Brazil and in the State of Pernambuco.Item Uma análise dos efeitos da crise econômico-sanitária sobre o mercado de trabalho do Brasil e de Pernambuco sob a perspectiva de gênero(2022-06-01) Veras, Beatriz Naira de Macedo; Gomes, Sónia Maria Fonseca Pereira Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9795791528582607; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2693334369580995In the last two years, the whole world has experienced the corona virus pandemic that has affected the economy of several countries, including Brazil. Due to policies to combat the corona virus, such as social isolation and closure of productive activity, the job market was directly affected. The objective of this study is to analyze the indicators that demonstrate the vulnerability of the market from the comparison of conditions between males and females at the national level and in the state of Pernambuco. The analyzes are methodologically based on data from the Continuous PNAD, from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics and address the behavior and evolution of indicators such as: unemployed and underemployed due to insufficient hours worked, potential workforce, discouragement, expanded workforce , unemployment rate and combined unemployment rate and potential workforce from the first quarter of 2021 to the fourth quarter of 2021, making it possible to compare the levels of the indicators before the advent of the pandemic and after the peak period. The results indicate that despite the recovery of the labor market, there is an inequality in terms of filling this market by men in relation to women, evidencing the precariousness of work for women both in the quarters before the peak of the corona virus crisis and in the later ones.Item Atuação do médico veterinário na área comercial: uma revisão de literatura(2023-09-19) Veloso, Rhayana Louíse de Matos; Souza, Daniela Maria Bastos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4856221548369438; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9197712518270148The Mandatory Supervised Internship (ESO) plays a crucial role in the learning of veterinary medicine students, preparing them for entry into the job market. This report describes the activities carried out during ESO in a veterinary products distributor, Quattro, in the veterinary commercial area, under the supervision of veterinarian Arlindo Ivo da Costa, during the period from June 1st to September 8th, 2023, totaling 420 hours internship. During the internship, the student played the role of technical and commercial consultant for automated laboratories, dealing with the daily tasks of this role. Furthermore, the student produced a literature review that highlights the growing importance of veterinarians in the veterinary commercial area, considering recent changes in the pet market and its evolution. The report concludes that professionals working in this sector play a crucial role in veterinary laboratories, industries and distributors, and even in the formulation of veterinary products. Furthermore, it highlights the need for universities to better explore this segment, supporting the significant opportunities it offers to veterinary medicine students.Item Contrato intermitente e reforma trabalhista: o caso de Pernambuco, novembro, 2017 a novembro, 2018(2019) Silva, Edgernaelson Gerciliano da; Xavier, Leonardo Ferraz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6143161358329055This monograph presents a current and general view on the Intermittent Contract, one of the new working modalities of the Labor Reform, analyzing its implementation, scope, effectiveness, advantages and disadvantages. In particular, the study focuses on the behavior of the new hirings of this modality in the State of Pernambuco, extracting data from the National Survey by Continuous Household Sample - PNAD Continuous (PEA - IBGE) and the General Register of Employees and Dismissed - CAGED (MTE ) from November / 2017 to November / 2018. The results of the survey help in understanding the new modality of the Labor Reform, thus identifying positive and negative points for both parties, employer and employee. For example, formalization of service provision, legal security, optimization of time, reduction of costs, maximization of profits, registration in the Work and Social Security Portfolio, rights with the organs of the National Institute of Social Security and Time Warranty Fund of service.Item Desigualdade de gênero no mercado de trabalho brasileiro(2023-05-09) Santana, Myllene Vytorya da Silva; Pontes, Nicole Louise Macedo Teles de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0800574110391775; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6758506861765246Por meio deste trabalho, visamos discutir os aspectos mais relevantes apresentados em artigos atuais sobre a diferença salarial em relação ao gênero e a dupla jornada de trabalho, analisando como esses fatores contribuem para a desigualdade de gênero no mercado de trabalho brasileiro. Em termos gerais, os resultados indicaram que as desigualdades entre as participações de homens e mulheres permanecem significativas, como também que variáveis relacionadas à diferença salarial e dupla jornada possuem efeitos distintos e desfavoráveis à mulher no âmbito do mercado de trabalho brasileiro. Os resultados não apenas indicam que a desigualdade entre as participações de homens e mulheres no meio ocupacional laborativo permanecem significativas, como também que variáveis relacionadas à diferença salarial e dupla jornada, que possuem efeitos distintos e desfavoráveis à mulher, onde contribuem para uma barreira que dificulta e atrapalha o exercício, pela mulher, do direito de trabalho previsto na Constituição Federal de 1988.Item Diferenciação salarial entre imigrantes e brasileiros no mercado de trabalho formal de São Paulo - 2015 e 2019(2021-12-17) Santos, Bruna Marianne Viana dos; Abreu, Eliane Aparecida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3101422198167935; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3550791525927064Immigration is a frequent and ancient phenomenon in the history of civilizations. Motivated by different reasons, depending on the conditions in each region, it can be justified by economic, political, cultural and environmental issues. Highly related to the globalized reality of the modern world, it contributes to a cultural and economic exchange that is increasingly intrinsic to the present. In Brazil, the population of immigrants received is concentrated mainly in the state of São Paulo. This preference is directly linked to the professional and career opportunities available in this region, as well as to its historical context of allocation of foreign peoples. From this context, this study intends to analyze the wage differential between the immigrant and Brazilian population inserted on the formal labor market in the state of São Paulo between 2015 and 2019. For this, the work will use data from the unidentified RAIS, which has information on individual characteristics and professional qualification of workers inserted in the formal market across the country. In addition, a second harmonized base was used, with additional information taken from RAIS, CAGED and CTPS. An extra data source was chosen because it contains additional information about the immigrant population, such as the continent of origin or individual migratory status. The methodology has a descriptive analysis, which observe individual characteristics and those related to human capital between the two groups, and the Blinder-Oaxaca (1973) decomposition. The results suggest that, in both cases, the groups are young and mostly male. As for race, the average percentage of whites is higher among the Brazilian population when compared to foreigners. In addition, the migrant group appears to be more qualified and have the highest income records and fewer weekly hours worked. As for the Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition, immigrants have different indicators than expected according to the theoretical foundation. In the two years observed, 2015 and 2019, the immigrant group showed a positive wage differential compared to the Brazilian population.Item Diferenciais de salário e discriminação por sexo no mercado de trabalho em Pernambuco - 2017(2019) Lima, Vitória Roberta Martins de Melo Galindo de; Abreu, Eliane Aparecida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3101422198167935; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3083257187748186In face of the problem of inequality between men and women in the labor market, this study proposes to analyze wage differentials by sex in Pernambuco in 2017 in order to distinguish the parts that can be attributed to differences of qualifications and to the discrimination. For this, the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method is used to estimate income equations based on the Mincer equation for both sexes and the Oaxaca decomposition in the measurement of discrimination. The mentioned procedures were carried out from the microdata bank of the Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios Contínua (PNADC) available for 2017. Since Becker (1957) established a microeconomic foundation, the study of discrimination has played an important role in the labor economy. This study aims to identify discrimination in the formal labor market by sex and race in the northeast and southeast in the year 2018.Using the data of the continuous PNAD and methodology OLS,the individual wage equations were estimated and, from these estimates, was carried out the decomposition of Oaxaca. The results point to evidence of wage discrimination for women and non-white people, as well as for stronger discrimination when it comes to non-white women.In addition, also point out that discrimination in the Southeast is more intense than in the Northeast.Item O efeito dos programas de transferência de renda na economia dos municípios pernambucanos: uma análise para o período 2006-2014(2023-05-03) Pereira, Mizael da Silva; Souto, Keynis Cândido de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0393274407907348; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0220927675452410In 2004, the “Bolsa Família” program was launched in Brazil, which, together with the “Benefício de Prestação Continuada [1993]”, represent the main Brazilian income transfer programs. From the 2000s, these programs were the subject of relevant research productions that sought to assess their impacts on various dimensions of the lives of families, individuals benefited, and the economy as a whole (national and city). The investigation of the relationship between these two programs and the formal labor market, family income, and the income of the municipalities of Pernambuco constitute the main objective of this work.. Using the panel data methodology, where individuals were the 185 municipalities of Pernambuco, observed in the period from 2006 to 2014, three equations were estimated with the objective of testing the hypothesis of the association of income transfer programs with employment, family income and the GDP of municipalities. The results indicate a positive effect of the PBF on the variables employment, household income, and municipal GDP, but the BPC, when considering the number of beneficiaries, has an effect only on household income.Item Efeitos da pandemia da Covid-19 no mercado de trabalho das mulheres(2023-05-05) Leandro, Larissa dos Santos Souza; Santos, Loraine Menêses dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4166590770317390; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0842782534274352Este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo analisar os efeitos causados pela pandemia da COVID-19 no mercado de trabalho das mulheres, através dos indicadores do mercado de trabalho disponibilizados pela PNAD Contínua. As análises tiveram como metodologia a análise descritiva dos dados secundários da PNAD Contínua, do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística e abordam o comportamento e evolução dos indicadores como: população em idade ativa, taxa de participação da força de trabalho, nível de ocupação, média de horas efetivamente trabalhadas na semana de referência no trabalho principal, distribuição percentual de pessoas desocupadas, taxa composta de subutilização da força de trabalho, taxa combinada de desocupação e subocupação por insuficiência de horas trabalhadas, e taxa combinada de desocupação e força de trabalho potencial nos períodos que vai desde o primeiro trimestre de 2018 ao quarto trimestre de 2021, possibilitando uma comparação mais precisa desses indicadores no período anterior e o auge do isolamento social da pandemia da Covid-19. Os resultados indicam que a pandemia afetou ambos os sexos no mercado de trabalho, porém de forma desigual entre os gêneros, evidenciando em todos os trimestres analisados antes e durante a pandemia a baixa representatividade das mulheres na força de trabalho e nível de ocupação, e alta representatividade nos demais indicadores que revelam a situação de vulnerabilidade e precariedade no mercado de trabalho.Item Empreendedorismo feminino e seus desafios: um estudo com empreendedoras oriundas do sertão do baixo pajeú pernambucano(2022-10-04) Gomes, Janinne da Silva; Silva, Danúzio Weliton Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2772521108714384Diante da trajetória ascendente do empreendedorismo feminino nos últimos anos, intensifica-se a importância de estudos que contribuam a cerca do tema e possibilitem visualizar aspectos relacionados a sua trajetória e desafios enfrentados no negócio. Em vista disso, a presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar as principais dificuldades apresentadas por mulheres empreendedoras residentes nas cidades de Triunfo e Serra Talhada, localizadas no sertão do baixo pajeú em Pernambuco. Como recurso metodológico para alcance dos resultados, utilizou-se da pesquisa qualitativa e exploratória, coletando-se os dados por meio de roteiro semiestruturado de entrevista aplicado a dez mulheres empreendedoras de diferentes ramos de negócio. Notou-se na decorrência do estudo que, apesar da evolução ao longo dos anos, muitos são os entraves enfrentados pelas mulheres empresárias, estando estes relacionados principalmente à conciliação da dupla jornada de trabalho, decorrente da divisão entre maternidade, tarefas domésticas e carreira profissional, defrontando-se ainda, com a persistente desigualdade de gênero presente no âmbito empresarial.Item A evolução do agronegócio brasileiro no período de 2010 a 2018(2019) Câmara, Rodrigo Dornelas; Souto, Keynis Cândido de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0393274407907348From 2010 to 2018, there were political, economic and climatic crises that impacted the country's growth and agribusiness. In this context, the main objective of this paper is to analyze the behavior of agribusiness during this period with emphasis on the participation of GDP-Agro in GDP-BR; the participation of the agribusiness trade balancein the Brazilian BC; and the labor market behavior of the sector in relation to Brazil. Secondary data were obtained from public and private agencies, available on their websites and from scientific articles already published and available in libraries. The results show that in 2016, agribusiness accounted for 19.06% of Gross Domestic Product, had 43% of the Trade Balance and its share of the Labor Market was 20.86%. In 2018, agribusiness was responsible for 21.14% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), with a reduction in the balance of trade, reaching 42.4%, and also a reduction in its participation in the Labor Market for 19.55%. The results allow us to conclude that, despite the crises and climate factors that plagued agribusiness in this period, the sector had an improvement in its share of GDP, and its share of the labor market and trade balance had a slight reduction, but it was not. Big impact. The expansion project for Brazil is part of a series of investments aimed at the consumer car market in Latin America, following the merger between the Fiat Automobiles and Chrysler Groups. The presence of the automaker in a territory that, until then, had a strongly agricultural society arouses curiosity, especially considering the absence of an automotive industry in Pernambuco. In this way, the present work proposes to analyze the process of implantation of Jeep in Goiana, especially the production relations established between the assembler and its systemists, which together integrate and form the Pernambuco's Automotive Pole.Item Indicadores do mercado de trabalho do Brasil e do Nordeste entre 2019.1 - 2023.2(2024-03-08) Aquino, Jadson Douglas da Cruz; Abreu, Eliane Aparecida Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3101422198167935In 2019, northeastern labor market indicators revealed a disparity in relation to Brazil, according to (Aquino; Nascimento, 2020) despite the Northeast Region representing only 23.5% of the Economically Active Population (EAP); This region was home to 40% of underemployed workers and approximately 61% of the unemployed in the country. At the beginning of 2020, restrictive measures were imposed in the country as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic; Such measures generated transformations in the job market in Brazil and the Northeast. As in the period before the pandemic, the Northeast Region had worse labor market indicators in relation to the Brazilian economy and the pandemic impacted the dynamics of the labor market in all regions, this study aims to verify the effects of the Covid pandemic- 19 on labor market indicators in the Northeast compared to Brazil. The methodology begins with a bibliographic review on the history of economic development in the Northeast, providing an understanding of how this influenced the regional job market. Secondly, an exploratory and descriptive analysis is carried out, using data from IBGE's Continuous PNAD, covering the period from the first quarter of 2019 to the second quarter of 2023. The most recent of those is the law nº 13.467/2017, effective since November 11, 2017 It's responsible for changing about 10% of the existing standards in the consolidation of labourite laws (CLT). The effects of the new law aren't still well known by scholars in the area, once, besides the short interval of time for the actual measurement of the possible results, Brazil has been undergone successive crises in all spheres, mainly, in economics politics. Therefore, the following study looked for investigate indications of precariousness in work relations, confronting them with the possible results of the 2017 reform. Encouraged, for this reason, the discussion, of form to analyze the modifications suffered by CLT, seeking to understand the dimensions of these modifications, by means of journalistic and academic rescue, evidencing a new economic and social context of the work market, as well as the recent data for the new contracting modalities, intermittent and part-time, created by the current reform. For this purpose, a narrative review methodology is used, mainly with regard to the theoretical basis, accompanied by a descriptive analysis of a series of indicators on the labor market, based on indicators from three main sources, namely Employees and Unemployed - CAGED, Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE and Institute of Applied Economic Research - IPEA. The analysis shows an increase in the proportion of unemployed per working time, an increase in underemployment rates and underutilization of the workforce, a decrease in first-time employment and an increase in informality between the periods of 2012.1 and 2018.3. For intermittent and part-time contracts, the scenario is low in hiring, low wages, an increase in the number of under-age employees, as well as little or no need for specialization in the number of vacancies generated. The results show that there are indications that the jobs generated after the mentioned reform did not contribute positively to the already precarious scenario in the country. However, it is necessary to recognize the possibility of worsening the current situation, in addition to the Labor Reform, given the uncertainties of the Brazilian market arising from the aforementioned crises. Pensando nisso, objetivou-se identificar os principais desafios enfrentados por mulheres inseridas no mercado de trabalho de Triunfo-PE e Serra Talhada-PE, que conciliam o trabalho fora e dentro de seus lares, bem como suas perspectivas de crescimento profissional. Para o alcance do mesmo, utilizou-se a pesquisa qualitativa de caráter exploratório, e para levantamento de dados a técnica de entrevista em profundidade, realizada com o auxílio de um roteiro semiestruturado, o qual foi aplicado com 10 mulheres inseridas no mercado de trabalho das referidas cidades. Foi possível constatar que as mulheres reconhecem que já avançaram muito, conquistando oportunidades que antes eram impossíveis, caracterizando o trabalho como sendo o caminho para a liberdade e autonomia, no entanto, ainda enfrentam desafios relacionados a conciliação entre o trabalho produtivo e do lar, os quais interferem no alcance de melhores oportunidades no mercado de trabalho e na busca por aperfeiçoamento profissional.Item Mulheres no mercado da Engenharia Civil: uma revisão bibliográfica acerca dos fatores que promovem esta nova realidade(2021-12-09) Lima, Maria Gabriela Campos de; Borgatto, André Vinicius Azevedo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4203791139862449; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8875672142571858The space for women in the professional area that make up the Civil Engineering market has historically been reduced, this is a fact, since activities related to technology and engineering were socially demarcated as a predominantly masculine territory. However, some relevant changes took place in the economy, political, social and cultural which fostered the process of insertion and maintenance of female labor on the market. This article aims to present the historical context that justifies the current scenario of gender disparity in the Civil Engineering market and to address initiatives and factors arising from government agencies and society that promote the insertion of women in this area of activity. The methodology applied for the development of this work was bibliographical research in books, digital library, scientific articles and magazines. The research shows that there is a movement of growth in the percentages of participation both in academic centers and in professional practice, that there are laws that impose certain percentages of female labor in civil construction companies; tertiary sector initiatives have been active in training the workforce and universities, companies and society have promoted initiatives to promote greater diversity in Civil Engineering. Associated with this is the territorial extension and cultural diversity of Brazil, which results in different scenarios of gender inequality in the labor market of the same country. Through an exploratory analysis of secondary data from the Quarterly Continuous PNAD, we sought to analyze what the possible effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on women in the labor market, from 2020 to 2022, in order to understand the pre- and post-pandemic scenarios. For this, some variables were used: the unemployment rate, the reason why individuals did not look for work, the amount of hours actually worked, the individual's position in the occupation, among others. The results show that women were more vulnerable to the pandemic as they had a greater participation in the unemployment rate during this period. The relevance of this monograph is in showing the fragility of the Brazilian labor market by region and by gender, and how periods of crisis can demonstrate this volatility by increasing social differences.Item Perfil profissional dos egressos do curso de graduação em Zootecnia da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco - Campus Recife(2020-10-27) Santana, Ytalo Daniel Ferreira de; Silva, Valdson José da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6499654247132691; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8243292547405519Understanding profile of graduated professionals may help planning and developing the course from the understanding of the challenges of professional performance and the current demand of the labor market. The present research aimed to characterize the professional profile and areas of activity of Zootechnists graduated at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco - Campus Recife from 2009 to 2019. Data were collected fom August to October 2020, through electronic form composed of multiple choice and discursive questions. Of the 320 graduates of the course, 153 (56.9%) answered the form. Most of participants were: female, 26 to 35 years old, living in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, entered the job market between 0-6 months after completing the udergraduate course, continued doing advanced courses, live and work for its region of origin, the main area of activity is animal nutrition, is employed in a private company, its employment relationship is the private-CLT and its remuneration is between four and Brazilian minimum wage. About 42.5% of the participants are currently working as Zootechnist. The results obtained indicate the challenge of professional training aimed at the job market and the need to develop the entrepreneurial profile of the professional trained in the course.Item O "polo Goiana": desenvolvimento e mercado de trabalho na Zona da Mata Norte de Pernambuco(2021-12-17) Cavalcanti, Pedro Rafael Chalegre; Bezerra, Gabriella Maria Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8954499933466652; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8437295117852093The aim of this study is to investigate the implications of recent industrial investments on the labor market in the Zona da Mata Norte and Metropolitan Region of Recife, in the State of Pernambuco. Our hypothesis suggests that the territory's recent industrialization broke with its long agro-industrial past, changing the dynamics of the territory's labor market. For this, first, a bibliographical survey was carried out on the socioeconomic historicity of the territory in the face of new changes. Then, with regard to the territory's labor market, data from databases of the Ministry of Economy: RAIS and CAGED are systematized and analyzed, in order to describe changes in the territory, allowing for new hypotheses to be raised about it. Initially, we could see that, between the first and second decade of the 21st century, there is a relative predominance of the industrial sector in the volume of links in municipalities, as well as a decline in the volume of links in the agricultural sector. Then, we identified the main industrial sectors of each municipality in relation to the total number of links in the industry, in order to observe mainly the vigor given by the automobile industry of Goiana/PE regarding the consolidation of Food and Beverage and Chemical Industry ventures in other municipalities. Finally, we analyzed the movement of employment contracts in the main industrial sectors, in order to observe a particular dynamic for each municipality, and seeking to specify some impacts of the 2017 Labor Reform on contractual movements in the territory. We found that so far there does not seem to be a significant impact on the dynamics, while, with regard to the hiring and dismissal modalities introduced, the impact is almost nil for the manufacturing industry in general.
