Busca-se analisar o processo de construção desse esporte no âmbito nacional, bem como sua relevância política e social. Além disso, discute-se as estratégias empregadas por tais regimes no uso do futebol como instrumento de propaganda e legitimação, assim como os resultados almejados ao explorarem a prática esportiva mais popular do país.Item Retratos da greve de 1979: o Brasil, Pernambuco, a escola(2023-03-15) Pinto, Robério Siqueira; Silva, Marcília Gama da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0090863442089957; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9731911398084861This paper intends to shed light on the intense wave of social and political upheavals that marked the year 1979 in Brazil, more precisely, its second half, which makes it an unavoidable moment for the history work in the country. From the analysis of newspapers, cartoons, photographs and films, together with a bibliographic review on the subject, the text that follows is reinforced in three central axes: in the first one, an overview of the struggles experienced in the civil-military dictatorship of that year is proposed, seeking to demonstrate how the strike breakout of 1978, another landmark moment, left breath and instilled revolt in the most diverse parts of the national territory; in the second, the fan narrows down to better approach the Pernambuco scene, the interest in this clipping, in particular, is explained by the specificities that it carries, at the same time that it incites us to an interesting discussion about the historiographical generalization of events and concepts from the Rio-São Paulo axis; finally, the experience of the teachers' strike in the state of Pernambuco was chosen as the agency's focus, understood here as resistance the struggle for the opening of the authoritarian regime, which leads us to conclude that, far beyond the classroom, this it was an initiative of outstanding importance for the return of the democratic rule of law.
