O projeto tem por objetivo principal caracterizar o perfil dos caprinocultores de base familiar no município de Paranatama - PE, observando a adoção de boas práticas agropecuárias na ordenha, assim como sugerir práticas que contribuam com a melhoria da qualidade do processo produtivo, além de relacionar o nível de adoção de práticas higiênicas em ordenha com o perfil socioeconômico dos produtores de leite caprino de base familiar, orientar os produtores familiares sobre os procedimentos corretos no manejo higiênico-sanitário durante o processo de ordenha, transporte e armazenamento do leite caprino, identificar animais que apresentam mastite e orientar os produtores sobre o manejo correto com estes animais, bem como métodos de prevenção e controle; e também caracterizar o perfil zootécnico do rebanho, as práticas de manejo adotadas, principalmente sanitárias, reprodutivas e nutricionais. Através destas ações, espera-se uma melhoria na qualidade do leite produzido e também uma maior rentabilidade aos produtores.

The mandatory supervised internship is a mandatory activity developed to obtain the bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). The activity load is 420 total hours in a given course subarea. These activities seek to optimize the practical capacity of students and make them able to develop actions related to professional practice. The mandatory was carried out in the Sanitary Surveillance Sector of the Health Department of the Municipality of Cabo de Santo Agostinho and in the Project One Health in The Peripheries of the Department of Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Animal Health of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo. The activities took place from June 27, 2022 to September 23, 2022. The final report aims to describe the activities developed by the student Paulo Henrique da Fonseca Belo, under the guidance of Dr. Daniel Friguglietti Brandespim and supervision of the Veterinary Ana Beatriz Benevides and Dr. Oswaldo Santos Baquero. In parallel to mandatory, a study was developed on the Performance of the Veterinary in the Unified Health System of the Southeast region of Brazil, where it was possible to determine, characterize and evaluate the performance of veterinarians and their areas of activity in the Unified Health System, by federative units and state capitals, in the Southeast region of Brazil. Therefore, after the experience of mandatory, it was possible to observe the importance of the insertion of the veterinarian in multidisciplinary health teams and their contribution to the promotion of the one health.

Conscientização da população do município de Garanhuns sobre as consequências da utilização inadequada de anticoncepcional em pequenos animais

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo reduzir a frequência de ocorrência de tumores de mama e/ou piometra em cadelas que fazem uso de anticoncepcionais, a base de progestágenos, por meio de conscientização de seus proprietários, que ainda utilizam tal método, que por sua vez são os responsáveis pela incidência de tais patologias. O projeto será executado em clínicas veterinárias, lojas agropecuárias, pontos de aglomeração de pessoas, em postos de vacinação antirrábica canina, durante o período de janeiro a dezembro de 2012, por meio de distribuição de folhetos explicativos, exposição de fotos e abordagem de tutores dos animais para o esclarecimento de dúvidas sobre os procedimentos e males provocados aos animais em decorrência do uso dos progestágenos como método anticoncepcional nos pequenos animais.

The Mandatory Supervised Internship (ESO) is a discipline that aims to provide the student with the opportunity to integrate and articulate theoretical knowledge with practical experiences acquired during the internship experience. This course conclusion work consists of the description of the activities carried out in the area of Health Surveillance of the Sanitary District III of the City Hall of Recife and the description of the first outbreak of lepidopterism caused by moths of the genus Hylesia sp. occurred between 2021 and 2022 in the neighborhoods of Dois Irmãos and Sítio dos Pintos (Recife - Pernambuco, Brazil) under the focus of the health education actions carried out. 17 health educational actions were carried out through lectures with slide presentations, dialogue circles and the provision of informative posters, which made it possible to reach a varied audience in a total of 12 institutions. In this way, educational actions stood out for helping the population to clarify their questions, in recognizing their own role in the face of environmental responsibility and in dealing with possible future outbreaks.
Manual de controle de zoonoses e agravos para agentes comunitários de saúde e agentes de controle de endemias

Uma zoonose é uma infecção ou doença infecciosa transmissível, sob condições naturais, de homens a animais e vice-versa, enquanto as zoonoses de relevância para a saúde pública, são aquelas de risco iminente de transmissão para a população humana, que apresente impacto na saúde coletiva, considerando a população exposta, a espécie animal envolvida e a área afetada, em tempo determinado, de acordo com o Manual de Vigilância, Prevenção e Controle de Zoonoses: Normas Técnicas e Operacionais, publicado pela Secretaria de Vigilância em Saúde (SVS) do Ministério da Saúde (MS) em 2016.De acordo com a Portaria nº 204/MS de 17 de Fevereiro de 2016, os agravos constituem qualquer dano à integridade física ou mental do indivíduo, provocado por circunstâncias nocivas, tais como acidentes, intoxicações por substâncias químicas, abuso de drogas ou lesões decorrentes de violências interpessoais, como agressões e maus tratos, e lesão autoprovocada. Entre as ações, atividades e estratégias de vigilância, prevenção e controle de zoonoses e outros agravos à saúde humana, estão incluídas as ações de educação em saúde. Diante do contexto, este manual tem como objetivo servir como instrumento e/ou ferramenta para os coordenadores de Vigilância em Saúde durante as ações de Educação Permanente em Saúde, aos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde (ACSs) e Agentes de Controle de Endemias (ACEs), que atuam diretamente nas áreas de Atenção Primária em Saúde e Vigilância Ambiental, respectivamente. O manual também se constitui em uma ferramenta importante, para as ações de médicos veterinários que atuam no Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF), apoiando as Equipes de Saúde da Família (ESFs) e proporcionando o conhecimento sobre as zoonoses e outros agravos, aos demais profissionais de saúde. Este manual não lista todas as zoonoses e agravos de ocorrência no território Brasileiro, porém são destacados os mais frequentes e de maior ocorrência nos usuários do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), de acordo com os dados epidemiológicos mais recentes do Ministério da Saúde. Percepção dos acadêmicos de medicina veterinária quanto à biossegurança nas aulas práticas

Academics in veterinary medicine are exposed to several types of risks in practical classes. The understanding of the risk to which a health professional is exposed starts at the undergraduate level, from the moment of contact with the risk and study environments. In this sense, this work aimed to evaluate the perception of the veterinary medicine students about biosafety in practical classes. This is a quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study carried out with veterinary academics from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) Recife campus, state of Pernambuco, Northeast Brazil. The data collection instrument was a semi-open questionnaire, and data collection was carried out in September 2018. 96 students from the 3rd to the 10th period participated in the study. Data from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Fisher Exact test. After analyzing the data, it was found that a large part of the students have the habit of re-capping needles (71.88%), a significant part does not always follow the laboratories biosafety norms (33.33%) and a significant percentage ( 42.71%) is not aware of all the risks that may be present in practical graduation activities. Regarding the occurrence of accidents, 20 (20.83%) reported having suffered one or more of one type of accidents in the practical classes, a large part of which was sharps (34.37%), a significant part (35%) was not using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the time of the accident. In addition, there was a lack of standardization in the procedures performed after the accidents. Regarding biosafety education, 44.79% stated that they only receive "biosafety guidance" before the practical classes, 80.21% of the students believe that the number of practical classes is insufficient to face the occupational risks inherent to biosafety. profession of the veterinarian, 67.71% of the students believe it is necessary to include the biosafety discipline in the curriculum of the veterinary medicine course. This study found a significant association between the variable "inclusion of biosafety discipline" and "believes that it has sufficient knowledge about biosafety". Regarding the updating of the vaccination portfolio, a large part stated that they had not received information regarding the need to update the vaccination portfolio and only 34.38% were immunized against rabies, 69.79% against tetanus and 30.21% against fever Yellow. Given the results presented, there is a lack of training regarding biosafety and a need to update the immunization portfolio of the students. It is suggested to include the discipline biosafety in the curriculum of the course of veterinary medicine to promote greater knowledge regarding the subject under study. In addition, it is proposed that the coordination of the course of veterinary medicine of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, in partnership with the team of the National Immunization Program (PNI) of the Municipality of Recife, carry out a campaign to update the immunization portfolio of the academics.

The Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO) is a mandatory subject of the 11º period of the bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE). Its aim is to provide 420 hours of practical experience in a specific area of veterinary medicine, focusing on making the student capable of performing their role by obtaining the title of veterinarian. In this sense, the main objective of this report was to demonstrate the main activities carried out by the student Andreza Carmen de Souza Santos França de Moura under the guidance and co-guidance respectively of the professor Dr. Daniel Friguglietti Brandespim and the professor Dr. Maria Betânia de Queiroz Rolim; and as a secondary objective, to characterize the profile of complaints in food establishments and the actions of the health surveillance of Sanitary District V in the city of Recife-PE, from November 2023 to April 2024. The ESO took place from April 1, 2024, to June 14, 2024, initially at the Health Surveillance in DS V of the Recife city, under the supervision of veterinarian Dr. Raissa Ivna Alquete de Arreguy Baptista and co-supervision of nurse Ilma Cristina Silva do Nascimento; and the second part at Agência de Defesa e Fiscalização Agropecuária do Estado de Pernambuco (ADAGRO) located in Recife, under the supervision of Agricultural State Inspector Dr. Glenda Mônica Luna de Holanda and co-supervisors the Agricultural State Inspectors Marcus Antônio de Souza Medeiros and Roberto de Albuquerque Wanderley. In this way, the internship highlighted, in both parts, the importance of the veterinarian as a health professional to promote food safety and public health.

The Supervised Curricular Internship figure as an important element in academic training, whereas a period in which the student joins his theoretical and practical knowledge in professional practice. Veterinarians perform important role in areas such as Public Health and Collective Health, which constitute an eminent field of interdisciplinary action, through the application of professional knowledge, aiming at the prevention of diseases and the health’s promotion and recovery. The present undergraduate thesis contains the activities descriptions developed in the Local Health Systems IV and the Food Processing and Analysis Laboratory (UFRPE), both in the city of Recife, Pernambuco. The objective of these internships was to accompany, to develop and to perform activities and actions, based in the professional and multiprofessional performances, within the competencies of internship’s places, through practical skills. In the first place was performed an experience in the Public Health Surveillance sector – which includes the Environmental Health Surveillance, the Epidemiological Monitoring, Surveillance of the Workers Health and the Health Surveillance – and in the Health Care (Public Health), through the local coordination of Expanded Family Health and Primary Health Care Center. In the Laboratory there was did the monitoring of practical classes and the development of a physical-chemical and microbiological study with pizzas sold on an avenue belonging to the territory of the Local Health Systems IV. The activities provided constructive moments, also promoting criticality, within the moral and ethical-professional precepts. The Supervised Curricular Internship allowed to observing the importance of integration between the services provided by the Sistema Único de Saúde, such as Health Surveillance and Basic Attention, with the services provided by the laboratory, as a guarantee of health promotion to users, the experience of the professional practice, insufficient during the course of graduation.

The Mandatory Supervised Internship is the mandatory subject of the eleventh period of the bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. It is based on practical experience of 420 hours, in a specific area of the course, whose focus is to make the student able to perform their role, by acquiring the title of Veterinary Doctor. In this sense, the main objective of this report is to demonstrate the main activities carried out by student Mayra Lorenna dos Santos Lima, under the guidance of professor Dr. Daniel Friguglietti Brandespim; co-supervision of professor Dr. Maria Betânia de Queiroz Rolim; Supervision of veterinarians Bianca Cardoso Peixinho and Glenda Mônica Luna de Holanda and co-supervision of veterinarians Marcus Antônio de Souza Medeiros and Roberto de Albuquerque Wanderley. It also aims to report on health education at the interface between primary care and state agricultural defense and its strategies for raising awareness and preventing urban and rural rabies. The ESO took place from April 1st to July 9th, 2024, at the eMULTI team, Basic Health Unit Camará, Camaragibe - PE and at the Agricultural Defense and Inspection Agency of the State of Pernambuco, Recife - PE. The internship allowed us to understand the importance of veterinarians within Public Health with the use of health education as a tool for monitoring and controlling diseases such as zoonoses, helping to prevent outbreaks, maintain animal welfare and contribute to the health of human beings.

The Report of the Compulsory Supervised Internship (ESO) is the result of the experience of the Compulsory Supervised Internship at Recife City Hall, in one of its health districts, specifically in Health District III, which is located at Rua Xavantes, 205 in Casa Amarela, with cargo. 420 hours in the three areas of health surveillance: Environmental, Sanitary and Epidemiological. It was at this moment that as a student I had the opportunity to combine my theoretical knowledge acquired during graduation with the internship practitioners in the professional environment. The Public Health and Collective Health areas provide a vast field of interdisciplinary action, which aligns professional and theoretical knowledge, aiming at the prevention of diseases and diseases, as well as the promotion of health recovery. This paper concludes the Veterinary Medicine course and describes all the activities carried out in the Sanitary District III of the Recife City Hall, in the city of Recife, Pernambuco. The internship made it possible to monitor, develop and execute activities and actions, based on professional and multiprofessional activities, within the demands of the internship sites, through practices guided by the technicians. In the District there was a rotation in the sectors of Environmental, Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance. The practices were unique moments in the construction of learning, always within the ethics and professional morals. The Compulsory Supervised Internship (ESO) is where one can observe the relevant importance of the integration between the three vigilances in the services provided by the Unified Health System (SUS), guaranteeing users the promotion of health and enabling the experience of professional practice, necessary for the construction of the professional during his graduation.
