Os estudos pela Comissão de Produção, autarquia vinculada ao Ministério da Agricultura, referentes aos preços mínimos a safra 1977/78, das regiões Norte e Nordeste, abrangeram o algodão, arroz, amêndoa de babaçu, amendoim, castanha do Brasil, castanha de caju, feijão, gergelim, girassol, mandioca, milho, soja, sorgo e semente de juta entre outros. Os estudos seguiram, em linhas gerais, às mesmas análises elevatórios anteriormente adotadas. Realizou-se amplo estudo do comportamento do mercado internacional para os produtos de exportação, onde se observa uma gradual recuperação das economias ocidentais, melhorando as perspectivas de captação de divisas para o Brasil e para os produtos voltados para o abastecimento interno, como é caso da maioria nessas regiões, a ênfase foi dada à análise do mercado doméstico.
Análise da viabilidade econômica da produção de repolho no município Caetés-PE

Cabbage (Brassica oleraceae var. capitata) is the most consumed brassica in Brazil and the fifth most traded vegetable in the country. The objective of this work was to analyze the behavior of cabbage prices in the last ten years in the main producing regions and in Pernambuco state, in order to verify the economic feasibility of producing one hectare of cabbage in the city of Caetés-PE. To reach the proposed objectives: i) we verified in the literature which production’s factors are necessary for a productive cycle of the crop; ii) gather the cost of these production’s factor; iii) we analyzed the behavior of the price of cabbage in the last ten years in the main producing regions and in Pernambuco state and iv) we performed an estimate of net profit and the return rate of the production of one hectare of cabbage, for the municipality of Caetés. To calculate economic viability were used the gross revenue, total operating cost, net profit and return rate. These were calculated in three different configurations: minimum, average and maximum. In the maximum configuration of return, the estimated production of cabbage in 1 hectare was approximately 50 t, generating a net profit of approximately 179 thousand reais, and a return rate of 10.1. In the average configuration of return, the estimated cabbage production was 42 t, estimated net profit was almost 82 thousand reais and the return rate was 4.6. Finally, in the minimum configuration of return, a productivity of only about 29% of the expected production, or 13.83 tons, was estimated to be commercialized with the lowest minimum value (R$ 1.28.kg), were required to pay the entire cost of production. Based on the results obtained, we can say that cabbage is a viable economic crop in the municipality of Caetés in the three analyzed configurations.

The present work seeks to show how the income of QuilomboCavalhada, which is located in the rural area of the city of Flores-PE, is generated, since the community articulates itself from production to self-consumption and, based on pluvial economy, it is possible to leverage internal market and expand beyond the municipality of origin. Thus, the importance for the studies of new ruralities, starting from an object of the Rural Economy and the Environmental Economy, is justified. From this, we try to answer the question: What are the articulations and how does the internal organization of the quilombolas of Cavalhada-PE take place as regards labor and income issues. The present methodology is the result of the joint construction elaborated in the Group of Interdisciplinary Research of Rural Extension in Settlements with production of instrument of research, collection and analysis of data realized in a collective and supervised way. The work has a qualitative character and bibliographic research was used as a research tool. The community counts on a small agricultural production of family food of corn and beans and with the production of handicrafts with inputs that would be discarded. However, the community identifies itself as farmers because most of its income comes from planting; however, there is great potential for agroecological craftsmanship, which would consequently generate more income, conservation of nature and would be a more sustainable option. This would also strengthen the local market, contribute to the development of both the community and the region in which they are inserted, and would not depend exclusively on agriculture and aid from the BolsaFamília Program.
O mercado exportador de carne bovina brasileiro e a variação no preço doméstico

This work sought to analyze the importance of exports to the Brazilian beef market, in order to understand the price formation of the CEPEA/B3 live cattle indicator, one of the main national commodities. Furthermore, the data of variables such as dollar, average income, IPCA, unemployment, soybean prices and its respective effects were analyzed on how it can impact the domestic price of the product. The methodology consists of using logarithmic-scale regression models of the variables, using the ordinary least squares method (OLS) for final estimates, using panel data collected from MAPA, CONAB, CEPEA and IBGE databases, related to their respective variable. The results indicated that beef exports to all countries show a positive effect on the formation of the final price, while the dollar showed an indirect negative correlation, in the time interval considered, from 2003 to 2020.

As Políticas Públicas de Financiamento Rural fazem parte da filosofia corporativista prevalecente no Estado brasileiro, que atinge e regula todas as relações econômicas da nação. O papel regulador do Estado brasileiro é a expressão dessa filosofia herdada da Revolução de 1930 e do Estado Novo de 1937, de Getúlio Vargas. Como exemplo prático, este artigo aponta a regulamentação da agroindústria sucro-alcoo!eira cujo embasamento corporativista foi instituído pela criação em 1933, do Instituto do Açúcar e do Álcool (IAA) e pelo Estatuto da Lavoura Canavieira de 1941.
