Item Concreto de ultra-alto desempenho – concepção, desempenho e análise da viabilidade técnica no mercado brasileiro atual(2021-12-10) Souza, Thaís de Siqueira; Galvão, Simone Perruci; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1523292800241605To answer a market growing demand for structures with increasingly challenging shapes and dimensions, the conventional concrete has been increased by other types of compositions and mix proportions, materializing unusual projects. Facing this demand, ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) emerges, a material that combines the properties of self-compacting concrete (SCC), fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) and high performance concrete (HPC). In this article, a bibliographical review on the UHPC was carried out, analyzing works published between the years 2015-2021, seeking information about concrete mixes used before, production and execution control, developed properties and technical and economic analysis. Was observed that the most used materials for the manufacture of the UHCP are: Cement (in general, CP V-ARI); Active silica (contents around 25%, in relation to the cement mass); Fine aggregates (granulometry not exceeding 3 mm); water/binder ratio (between 0.20 and 0.26); diameter mm 12 steel fibers (contents between 2% to 3%, in relation to the total volume of the concrete) and superplasticizer additives (contents of 1% to 3%, in relation to the cement mass). The studied works reached results of 175 MPa of compressive strength, when thermal curing associated with pressure curing was used. This element is already a reality in Brazil and in the world, making it necessary to produce technical standards applied to this type of concrete and more studies to consolidate the use of this material, indicating better materials, production and execution techniques, in addition to methods recommended dosage and better costs.
