(2019-07-27) Sousa, Jailson Oliveira; Silva, Charles Ricardo Leite da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2664342528760612; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8722729581428263
The present work aims to develop a collection of conceptual fashion, as a form of artistic inclusion, for people with visual impairment. In a broad way, the work seeks to reflect on the possible dialogues between design, fashion and art, with a focus on expanding the inclusion of visually impaired people in these areas. For this, we carried out a research of a qualitative nature, with explanatory and descriptive character, following the methodology of product design proposed by Montemezzo (2003). Seeking to understand the main difficulties faced by people with visual impairment when it comes to clothing, and how they understand fashion and art. For data collection, we conducted five interviews with women with total visual impairment. This material was used to understand the needs of the target audience as well as for the development of tactile and inclusive labels. Following this, we performed a study of the works of the artist Sonia Delaunay, which led us to create a semantic panel, which was used as a reference and inspiration in the development of the inclusive fashion proposal. As a result of this research, we created conceptual fashion products, based on a sensorial proposal, as a way to include people with visual impairment in the artistic spaces of the fashion universe. Five sketches and their respective labels, initially digitally and later sensorially, were elaborated as a possibility to include issues related to people with visual impairment in the conceptual fashion creation process.
