In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 pandemic when the world had already reported 118,000 cases, 4.2 thousand deaths, and 114 countries with confirmed cases. With the lack of effective treatments and vaccines, scientists turned their attention to diagnosing the disease and finding ways to prevent its transmission. Although RT-PCR testing is widely used, it has some disadvantages, such as invasiveness of sample collection, cost, and time. Detection of volatile organic compounds (VOC) has emerged as a less invasive and effective alternative for COVID-19 diagnosis. Infection by a pathogenic agent can trigger a series of changes in the organism's cellular behavior. Understanding the molecules involved in this process is critical for developing diagnostic techniques that can help combat the pandemic. To investigate the relationship between COVID-19 and organic volatile biomarkers (VOC), a systematic review was conducted based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines.

Proposta educativa para adolescentes grávidas no Agreste Pernambucano A gravidez é uma transição que integra o desenvolvimento humano, mas revela complicações ao ocorrer na adolescência, pois envolve a necessidade de reestruturação e reajustamento em várias dimensões. A gravidez significa uma rápida passagem da situação de filha para mãe. As repercussões da gravidez precoce, trás riscos nutricionais e obstétricos para a gestante e existem outros agravantes como, por exemplo, problemas socioeconômicos conforme a situação de cada gestante e/ou família. Para adolescentes de classe baixa, uma gravidez não planejada pode ser o início dos mais temidos problemas na vida do ser humano. O abandono dos estudos e a falta de conhecimento para conseguir um emprego de boa qualidade, com um salário digno é o problema mais dramático, propiciando para que surjam os bolsões de pobreza. Portanto, para atender adequadamente às necessidades de saúde desta população são necessários trabalhos de orientação sobre a questão em tela. Assim este projeto tem como objetivo desenvolver um trabalho de orientação sobre gravidez na adolescência com adolescentes do município de Bom Jardim-PE.

The muscles and tendons of the rotator cuff work together to provide stability and movement to the shoulder joint. When continuous movements occur in this region for many years, due to work or other events, injuries can occur in this muscle region. Lesions of the rotator cuff are a common cause of pain and disability in the shoulder, and surgical repair is often necessary. Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a treatment option that has become increasingly common in recent years. This undergraduate thesis performs a literature review on the main causes of rotator cuff injuries, the types of standard treatments used and the biological properties of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF). In addition, a systematic review article is produced to evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of PRFs as a treatment option in patients, ultimately discussing the implications of the findings for clinical practice and future research. For this, articles found in electronic databases that went through the inclusion and exclusion process were used, which in the end were selected for full reading and inclusion in the monograph.
