This work is a case study that aims to demonstrate the importance of management in maintenance processes. Theoretical concepts that approach maintenance management in order to make the reader familiar with the subject and therefore portrayed in the practice of maintenance planning and control (PC) in the maintenance sector of a sugarcane sector implantation plant in the region North East.
