This work is divided into two parts, where Chapter 1 describes the activities carried out during the ESO at a veterinary products distributor, Intersul Veterinary Products Distributor, which currently represents the MSD Animal Health line in the field of veterinary technical promotion, under the supervision of veterinarian João Alberto Rolemberg Abreu, during the period from April 1 to June 14, 2024, totaling 420 hours of internship, under the guidance of Professor Andréa Paiva Botelho Lapenda. During the internship period, the student performed the role of technical promoter for the MSD line, handling activities related to this function. Simultaneously, a study was conducted on the perceptions and conduct profile of veterinary professionals regarding immunization with multiple canine vaccines in the Recife Administrative Political Region, which includes the neighborhoods of Boa Viagem, Brasília Teimosa, Imbiribeira, Ipsep, Pina, Ibura, Jordão, and Cohab, in the city of Recife. A questionnaire was administered to veterinarians on the subject, and their responses were evaluated according to the literature, making this study the focus of Chapter 2 of this Final Course Project. It can be concluded that the promoter working in this pet veterinary market segment plays a crucial role in the dissemination and technical support to veterinarians. Furthermore, regarding the topic of vaccination protocols, this work encompasses challenging perceptions in relation to the recommendations of vaccination guidelines with the conduct of veterinarians who often reproduce a general and less specific protocol according to the animal's lifestyle, performing an analysis of the current vaccination protocols and the need for continuous education and professional improvement.
