Item A ambiguidade sob a ótica de estudos da linguagem(2019-12-18) Souto, Wellington Hugo Lima Freitas; Santos, Eudes da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8701527300251171; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6362679313035338The present undergraduate thesis aims to approach an ambiguity as a linguistic phenomenon present in the most diverse means of reading, but with little visibility in its studies, and thus it is adopted as a reinforcement to the knowledge of ambiguity using its historical support, its perception in the cognitive system and suggestions, with later examples of their presence in various texts of various genres, which confirm their frequency in our language practices. The research content was developed in its qualitative and bibliographic basis, having as theoretical reference scholars such as: Ferreira (2000), Miotto (2007), Kenedy (2013), Cançado (2012), among others national and international authors. The research results highlight a phenomenon of incredible significant magnification that requires care in its use for some (like any figure of speech), but must also be considered as a particularity for others, such as more efficient advertising or more poetic lush. Thus, the study highlights an important linguistic phenomenon.Item Análise das orientações do currículo de Pernambuco para o trabalho com a variação linguística(2019-12-13) Cavalcanti, Paloma Agrelis; Lima, Emanuelle Camila Moraes de Melo Albuquerque; Santos, Eudes da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8701527300251171; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0470905904340465; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9098086086244833The present work will analyze the work with a linguistic variety in the Pernambuco Curriculum, a document created in 2019 and which serves as a guide to the pedagogical work in the Elementary and Secondary Education. The work analyzed only the final years of elementary school (6th to 9th grade), observing the linguistic variation in the skills that the document proposes in its Curricular Organizer. To accomplish this research, we used as a theoretical and methodological framework the Variationist Sociolinguistics, which had as precursor Willian Labov (2008) and Educational Sociolinguistics, with the authors Bortoni-Ricardo (2005) and Sgarbi & Roncália (2011). In the analysis of the document we noticed some of the skills within the four proposed axes - Reading axis (twelve skills), Textual Production (four skills), Orality (four skills) and Linguistic / Semiotic Analysis (four skills). These axes observe the linguistic varieties, considering the whole apparatus that the student already brings with him, the communicative context of the activities and texts worked in the classroom, and the work to enlarge the repertoire of this student, considering all the variations of the Portuguese as authentic and legitimate.Item Análise das propostas de produção textual em uma coleção de livro didático de língua portuguesa do 1° ao 5° ano do ensino fundamental(2019) Nascimento, Edvânia Silva; Santos, Eudes da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8701527300251171This paper aims to analyze the aspects related to the proposals of textual production activities present in Portuguese Language Books from the 1st through the 5th grades adopted in the public Elementary Schools of the city of Lajedo-PE, in order to verify if they contribute to the students to develop good writing practices. The research fits as qualitative Flick (2009) and as a documentary Ludke and André (2012). It was based on the following authors: Antunes (2017); Koch and Elias (2009); Dolz, Gagnon and Decândio (2010); Passarelli (2012), among others, to address issues related to the production of texts and related themes. The analysis of the aspects related to the textual production proposals present in the books showed that if it allied to other textual production activities, it contributed to the development of good texts by the students. Finally, this work made us understand how these aspects are related to the activities of text production in the Portuguese Textbooks in the public schools of Lajedo, Pernambuco.Item Análise do tratamento dado à gramática em um livro didático de 3° ano do ensino médio(2019-07-26) Soares, Maria Fernanda; Santos, Eudes da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8701527300251171This research aimed to analyze how the teaching of grammar is presented with in a third-year high school book, identifying what type of grammar is brought in the textbook, since the last year of high school is understood as decisive in the life of Students. The analysis was performed through a mapping of the support, and three activities offered in textbook were chosen to be observed as the teaching of grammar is willing, respectively of the first and second unit, because the third and fourth do not present Grammar, but linguistic analysis Mendonça (2006). The notions of grammar presented in this research that gave basis for the analyses were from Travaglia (2009). The discussions about the teaching of grammar at school were based on the texts of Possenti (2012), Vieira (2013, 2018) and Brazil (1998). The methodology used was a qualitative analysis Cordoba & Silveira (2009) and Flick (2009), also of documentary Nature Lüdke and André (2012). Finally, data analysis can be understood that the normative grammar is the most used in the classroom, and it is interesting to note that the use of textual genres as a base for their teaching makes them easy to understand in the teaching Learning process.Item Análise do tratamento dado à variação linguística em um livro didático de língua portuguesa(2019-07-30) Lopes, Fernando José Valença; Santos, Eudes da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8701527300251171; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2655392880923714The language we speak does not have a single form. It is heterogeneous and full of variations. Suffice to just observe how we use language in order to realize that one person does not speak the same way as another. This variation is justified by the linguistic and extralinguistic factors that influence the form of communication of each speaker. The main objective of this paper is to analyze the treatment given to linguistic variation in the Portuguese language textbook. The research is characterized as one of qualitative, bibliographic and documentary nature, being justified by having the textbook as the basis of data collection. More specifically, we will approach the sociolinguistic studies, observing the forms of language variation and applying the content in the analysis of the material. To highlight, we have based our research on the following authors: Labov (2008), Tarallo (1986), ILARI and BASSO (2006), González (2015), among others, to deal with questions related to linguistic variation and the textbook, besides other correlated themes. The analysis of the textbook revealed the linguistic variation present in the analyzed chapter in such a way as to describe the forms of variation, but still limiting itself to how variation should actually be presented. Therefore, we must recognize that it is already an advance to have the presence of this theme, explained in the didactic material. Thus, it becomes pertinent to enhance the fact that language should not be treated as a homogeneous phenomenon, and that teachers should assume a heterogeneous posture, in relation to the way they deal with linguistic variations, in their teaching process.Item Estudos sobre língua, literatura e ensino(EDUFRPE, 2019) Sedrins, Adeilson Pinheiro; Lima, Rafael Bezerra de; Albuquerque, Emanuelle Camila Moraes de Melo; Santos, Eudes da SilvaApresentamos, neste livro, trabalhos apresentados na III Semana de Letras da Unidade Acadêmica de Garanhuns da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (III SeLUAG – UFRPE) e do I Seminário de Estudos Linguísticos e Literários Aplicados ao Ensino (I SELLAE). In this context, the present work aims to analyze the persuasive language used in sales pages of digital products. As an object of this analysis, a copy of the genre, captured by means of prints, is the sales page of the online course Magra Para Semper, by nutritionist Karina Peloi. The analysis in question is based on theoretical aspects, such as Maingueneau (2013) and Orlandi (2010) on discourse, and Citelli (2002), Adolpho (2018), Kotler (2017) and Cialdine (2012) on persuasive language and digital marketing. This research is relevant because it aims to contribute to the study of language, especially with regard to the transformations and uses of language in modernity. Through persuasion techniques, on the sales page, the vulnerabilities and desires of the target audience are explored, companies seek to know their client thoroughly to use their needs and dreams as tools of persuasion. Thus, it is sought to understand this use of language, given its power of persuasion and how important it is to reflect on how discourses are produced, especially in the marketing field.Item A metáfora em texto humorístico: uma análise sob a ótica da metáfora conceptual(2019-07-09) Carvalho, Gabriela Rayla Teixeira de; Santos, Eudes da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8701527300251171; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7579692572408649This work aims to analyze metaphors present in stand-up text. We used as corpus the humorous text of the comedian Whindersson Nunes based on the Conceptual Metaphor theory of Lakoff and Johnson (2002). The research fits as qualitative, documental and bibliographic. The material we used for our analysis consists of the 2016 video, published on the Youtube platform, entitled "Whindersson Nunes in Marminino (full show)". We have done the transcription of the passage that we chose to study and we have tried to analyze in this work the metaphorical expressions that we find in the video, in the family thematic. As a strategy for the identification of metaphors, we chose the method of reading, described by Sardinha (2007) as the most appropriate for working with the conceptual metaphor. For theoretical reference, we had Lakoff and Johnson (2002), Sardinha (2007), Fiorin (2014), Zanotto et al (2002), Cameron (2010), among others. In our analysis we verify that many metaphors with similar characteristics appear frequently in the text, which led us to organize them by groups, animal metaphors, ontological metaphors, among others. In our analysis, we were able to explain the connotative sense of metaphorical expressions and relate them to a larger conceptual metaphor, as proposed in the objectives. Finally, we noted how the metaphorical system is diversified, full of different conceptual metaphors, not a structure "stuck" to patterns with only one type. We also observed how present it is in our daily lives not only as a linguistic resource, but also as a fundamental component of our language.Item Reflexões sobre o ensino de produção textual : uma análise do que propõe a base nacional curricular comum para os anos finais do ensino fundamental(2019-02-15) Araújo, Ubiralange Virgínio Nunes de; Santos, Eudes da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8701527300251171; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3056116470173462This work has as an objective to reflect on how the textual production is treated on National Common Curricular Base – BNCC (2017). The research fits as qualitative, bibliographical and documentary, justified on the basis of BNCC’s document. Especifically, we focused analysing on how this document directs the teaching skills of elementary school on its final years. Therefore, we took as a basis the following authors: Antunes (2009); Koch e Elias (2009); Dolz, Gagnon e Decândio (2010) among others, to address issues relating to textual production and other related topics. The analysis of the document showed that, the exis of textual production is presented in a way that takes the teacher to work with the portuguese language following the perspective that writing is not something tight, but interactive, systematic and procedural. Finally, this work led us to understand that the BNCC points out proposals for the development of skills that are essential for student’s life, in a way that the student has an active, integral and relevant learning for the social life.
