This research started from the concern with the trade in the COHAB neighborhood, in the municipality of Machados, in the period of rehabilitation of post-pandemic activities, based on the assumption of the lack of preparation to face the post-pandemic and the amateurism in how the act is treated to commercialize. As an objective, I analyzed trade and traders in the COHAB neighborhood, in the municipality of Machados-PE, after the pandemic., with measures to overcome the crisis caused by the virus. An ethnographic research was carried out in the research scenario and a structured and open interview was carried out, the first part of the interview being to identify the profile of the interviewees; and the second, to identify the experience and impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In general, the results led me to observe that the consequences caused by Covid-19 contributed to an economic decline in the COHAB neighborhood, presenting significant changes in the behavior of local traders and expanding their visions for future perspectives to be developed in the resumption of their activities. commercial activities. I also noticed that the merchants had neither knowledge nor experience capable of directing a path to be followed as strategies for survival and return to activities. Based on this, I reinforce that the political articulation of all spheres of government to overcome the pandemic and its economic impacts are essential in times like this, experienced by the pandemic, and support was expected for this group so affected during the pandemic.
