    Doença renal policistica em canino da raça Labrador – relato de caso

    The case report chosen for the case report is a female Labrador, 6 months old, with a history of diarrhea, vomiting, fever, prostration and abdominal pain. As the vaccination protocol was incorrect, the initial clinical suspicion was parvovirus. The ultrasound examination showed that in addition to intestinal inflammation and pancreatitis, he had polycystic kidney disease (PRD), requiring hospitalization of the patient. Polycystic kidney disease is caused by a gene that causes several cysts to accumulate in the kidneys, causing partial or total loss of function. This report will address the clinical conduct and management of an animal with the above changes. The aim of this paper is to report a case of Polycystic Kidney Disease in a Labrador dog.
