The species of animals classified as venomous are those that have as defense mechanism the ability to inoculate in their prey toxic substances from specialized glands. Snakes, scorpions, bees and spiders are the main groups involved in accidents. Hymnoptera insect accidents are a major concern for public health. This is because the animals that compose this order, having as main representative the bee (Anthophila), have apparatus inoculator of venom or "true sting", characterized by the presence of veneniferous glands annexed. In the veterinary medical literature, several studies report death in dogs with systemic toxic reaction after multiple bees accident, one of the main aggravating factors being acute renal failure. For domestic animals, the correct diagnosis and treatment of accidents are hampered by difficult detection and differentiation by tutors. Serum therapy with specific serum is not available for use in animals, treatment being symptomatic and in line with expected pathological changes. In addition, for the success of the treatment of patients affected by this type of accident, it is crucial that the precepts of intensive medicine are applied for maintenance and recovery of vital functions. The objectives of this study were: (1) to describe the activities carried out during the period of compulsory supervised training; (2) to carry out a wide literature review on accidents involving venomous animals, with emphasis on hymenopterism; (3) report a case of successful treatment in a dog with systemic toxic reaction after multiple bees accident.
