    The street cleaner are configured as workers in outdoor environments highly exposed to Ultraviolet Rays (RUV) because they spend an average of 4 to 9 hours of daily sun exposure in the performance of their work activities. Through a field research it was observed that the uniforms of the street cleaner did not protect them in carrying out their work activities, emphasizing the need to protect the RUV from clothing, for these professionals during the exercise of their unhealthy activities, among the other possible risks that can compromise the health of these workers.This study aimed to make a diagnosis of the professional uniforms of the street cleaner in the city of Olinda in Pernambuco, identifying the health risks arising from the performance of their work activities in external environments and how this is related to the usability of the professional uniform. At the end of the study, a change in the current uniform was suggested to provide better protection for street cleanerwhen carrying out work activities.
