The internship was carried out in the experimental farm of Sakata Seed Sudamerica company located in Bragança Paulista - SP. The company is a multinational headquartered in Japan and a subsidiary in Brazil, has been engaged in research, production and marketing of basic and hybrid seeds of oleric species. The objective of the internship was to follow the whole process of production of basic and hybrid vegetable seeds. The farm is located in a region of altitude higher than 800 meters that allows the development of seeds of high physiological quality. The internship took place in the production area of the experimental farm, where I could follow the whole process of seed production from sowing, reassembly, subculture, grafting, preparation of greenhouses, irrigation system installation, transplanting, sprouting, driving. and storing, head lettuce removal, pollination, harvesting and pre-cleaning of seeds. All the experience gained gave me practical knowledge and the opportunity to follow the work of the Agronomist in the field and in an area that I intend to follow.
