What mostly contributes to the raising of this total are the genotypic classes formed by the combination of loci in homozygosis with ones in heterozygosis. The totall> homozygotic genotypes or the totally heteri zygotic ones contribute in a minor degree. Gene linkage and epistatic interactions are, however, strong factors which somewhat reduce this high value.
